i hate seeing snyder fans hate on corensupes and krypto.
because for one, henry cavill’s superman would gladly dogsit krypto if corensupes asked him to btw.
secondly, half of the arguments i’ve seen don’t even make any sense.
“the suit is ugly” that’s entirely subjective and that’s not even a argument or critique, and despite the lines, it’s literally the most comic accurate suit we’ve had since superman ‘78.
“it’s too colorful and playful” …this is literally a movie about a alien that crash landed in kansas and was raised by the nicest humans ever, and also wears his fucking BABY BLANKET as a CAPE to save people purely because he wants to. shut up.
“he’s too weak/whiny” if you’re referring to krypto hurting him, one - krypto is a alien dog, so he has crazy powers, two - superman is already badly injured so anything strong would probably hurt him at that state. and if you’re referring to the sun “hurting” him, please imagine if you had several broken bones and they were ALL HEALED/REBUILT IN THE MATTER OF SECONDS. yeah, that’s gonna hurt.
overall, the cgi looks AMAZING, me and every other superman fan is happy.
This movie is AMAZING dude. I don't normally like superhero movies but I think this is the best superhero movie I've ever seen: a superman who advocates for the oppressed. A superman who feels HUMAN. Anybody who is mad that this movie is political is stupid. OF COURSE this movie is political. It shouldn't be controversial to say that war, genocide, and xenophobia are wrong. This movie came out at the exact time where we need to be as loud as possible. And besides the politics, it also just has a really intriguing plot, great characters, and good visual effects. And a very good doggo.
