Hands her a book, a rather thick book. Once she's holds it correctly she would see the words 'holy bible' etched in gold.
❛ jin … context is always highly appreciated when you decide to do things like this ... ❜ lashes flutter as you blink multiple times, trying to figure out why you are holding a … holy bible? brow raises, awaiting your cousin’s explanation. ❛ … encouraged, even. ❜ you added, looking back down at the book. there was a punchline in this, but you were not sure what it was.

“that sounds like a medical emergency." -- @dcvilinside
“Well, it’s definitely not a lot of fun,” she said, tucking the burner phone she used to stay in contact with Daredevil to her ear. Felicia slid down to lay on the floor of her bathroom. The tile felt cool and soothing. “I think if I just drink a lot of fluids won’t die. But I will not be able to go with you to Harlem tonight,” she said, closing her eyes. “I’m going to give you my address,” she’d been pretty reluctant to disclose her identity until now, but for better or worse she trusted him. “If you don’t hear from me tomorrow, do you think you can swing by and make sure I didn’t die?”
@dcvilinside, 💖’d for a starter!
“Matt Murdock visiting little ol’ me in the hospital? Either I’m honored or I’m in big trouble.” Tony jokes, wanting to laugh but instead a small sigh escapes his curved lips. His eyes close for a moment. God, he’s tired. “Mr. Murdock...to what do I owe the pleasure? Want an autograph? I promise I won’t be mean. I’ll actually put it on something, cross my heart.” He says, making an ‘x’ over his chest with his left only hand.

"So, do you just... go around town without a big plan beside stop the bad guys?" Jemma wondered, gently helping the man - Daredevil, as it had turned out - to sit up despite the fact that being so close to another person made her more anxious than the prospect of being beat up. "And yeah, I'm okay. I'm always okay. Queen of okay," she muttered, quoting the Doctor for no reason beside the fact that her brain was occupied trying to determine if he was hurt, and if he was hurt in a way that would make her sick to fix, and if that last part ultimately mattered since they were both very much injured and he had been trying to help her.
"I wasn't gonna kill anyone, if you we-oh, don't worry now, I'm not about to try to take your mask off," she warned him as her hand came closer to his face, "I'm just trying to see if your face is bleeding or it’s coming from elsewhere, I know how the superhero's secret identity thing works."

She frowned, before she reached over to brush her hand through his hair, “Then maybe what you need to do is change the game they’re playing,” she said. “If you can’t win playing by their rules, then change the game. Change the rules. Make them play a game they can’t win,” she took his hand in hers, lacing their fingers together. She didn’t need to say she was afraid for him, she was sure he could tell. “One of the benefits of being the Devil is the only rules you ever have to play by are your own.”

“Damn.” Griffin was rarely surprised. Drunken men and women alike stumbled down night alleys as the bars closed across the city. Griffin was used to the commotion. The abandoned warehouse fire escape he regularly crashed in was high enough up that he went unseen and Griffin was always long gone before morning gave him away. Usually, by then, the alleys were clear. No one else used the fire escape except the parkour kids and the warehouse was mostly used by drug dealers who couldn’t have cared less about a homeless kid squatting on their turf. That was normal for Griffin. What wasn’t normal was finding a man lying half unconscious on Griffin’s fire escape.
Griffin knew the man was there before he started climbing up. He could feel their movements vibrate through the metal rails. He could hear their uneven breaths and pained groans before Griffin had even left the pavement. He could smell the blood and though it was fresh, it wasn’t enough to kill them. There was no telltale scent of alcohol or weed or any other kind of drug Griffin knew the smell of either. All of this Griffin knew before he reached them.
“Dude... who the hell did you piss off?”

LET NOBODY UNDERESTIMATE HOW MUCH VANESSA RAGED. Vanessa was a woman of value and hard work, knowing and learning through time how to properly handle and manage people of this world, which is why it struck her as appalling that he was around, that he approached her as if to see that she kept her in check, to hold a threat when needed.
PACKING THE LAST OF HER THINGS FROM THE PENTHOUSE, she didn’t give him the grace of turning around, already seeing his reflection from a mirror in front of her. “What do you want, Matthew?” She asks, venom lacing her words. “Haven’t you taken enough?”
