I feel genuinely bad for the people who paid up to $1000 for a Len DD after losing the lottery only for Volks to put him back up to buy on their site at his regular RRP. That must have been fucking painful. I'm one of the lottery winners at least but I know I would have done the same if I lost and I can only imagine how much it would suck to think buying an overpriced secondhand one was my only option argh. Everything to do with the RinLen release was a train wreck, I blame scalpers.

Afterparty loot
I forgot to post the stuff I picked up from the Dolpa afterparty at the Fukuoka store last Saturday, and now that tumblr is finally letting people add images on mobile it’s a lot easier.
First up is Rins new outfit, Dreamy Star Night. I knew I wanted it as soon as I saw it in Volks News and just as expected it suits her aesthetic perfectly.
Next up is my Renee, who got a full outfit out of some new MSD stuff (shorts, top, hoodie, boots). So now he’s a boy - but I still can’t decide if I should change his eyes or not, and I still can’t come up with a name. He’s the MC of a webcomic I’m still planning but I’m terrible at naming characters.(which was one blessing with SC, because I didn’t have to name anyone) I guess the shorts are a little on the short side (the ones I drew him in were closer to knee length) but they’ll do for now.
I was supposed to also buy the new DD bikini but…instead I ended up getting the Pure Wind Maid Cafe uniform. I wasn’t going to originally because it’s really expensive (as any outfit that comes with shoes is) but I had been entertaining the possibility of putting it on Mel. In the Volks stores they put all the new outfits on the display dolls, and the Fukuoka staff had put this maid dress on Len, and as soon as I saw that I felt my hands were tied.
It was a good decision though I’m glad, he’s absolutely killing it.
Idk why this pic of Bri and Mel is my most liked on Instagram of all my pics ever but I may as well put it here too. This is the first time I tried the dress Bri came with as a D'coord on her after she got her Bri wig/eyes and I don't know why I didn't do it sooner.
my favourite photos of Mel that I have ever taken are these ones where he looks really annoyed and unimpressed in Sydney. (I do wanna take him to Melbourne one day though)
