Rin in the Sakura Miku Hanami Coord! She’s ‘borrowing’ Luka’s wig, but it looks really good on her.
I want to try the outfit on Luka next cos it’s just ever so slightly big on a DDS, and I’m curious if Luka’s L bust can fit in the shirt or not.
A bunch of pics from Fukuoka Volks I took a few weeks back.
I’m gonna upload one (or two) dolls a day in the order I got them with a bunch of photos taken since 2019, which is when I last updated @montydollcrew.
First up is DD Kagamine Rin! She was my first Dollfie Dream - I got her back in 2016 during her original sale. I still think she’s the cutest DD Volks have ever made. She’s also one of my most photogenic dolls. She’s just so adorable!
Afterparty loot
I forgot to post the stuff I picked up from the Dolpa afterparty at the Fukuoka store last Saturday, and now that tumblr is finally letting people add images on mobile it’s a lot easier.
First up is Rins new outfit, Dreamy Star Night. I knew I wanted it as soon as I saw it in Volks News and just as expected it suits her aesthetic perfectly.
Next up is my Renee, who got a full outfit out of some new MSD stuff (shorts, top, hoodie, boots). So now he’s a boy - but I still can’t decide if I should change his eyes or not, and I still can’t come up with a name. He’s the MC of a webcomic I’m still planning but I’m terrible at naming characters.(which was one blessing with SC, because I didn’t have to name anyone) I guess the shorts are a little on the short side (the ones I drew him in were closer to knee length) but they’ll do for now.
I was supposed to also buy the new DD bikini but…instead I ended up getting the Pure Wind Maid Cafe uniform. I wasn’t going to originally because it’s really expensive (as any outfit that comes with shoes is) but I had been entertaining the possibility of putting it on Mel. In the Volks stores they put all the new outfits on the display dolls, and the Fukuoka staff had put this maid dress on Len, and as soon as I saw that I felt my hands were tied.
It was a good decision though I’m glad, he’s absolutely killing it.
These are from Volks Osaka. I honestly just wanted to finally try this candypop dress on a doll already after having it unopened nearly a whole year, but my Renee probably isn’t gonna wear it again. I want to keep it nice for once I finally get its proper recipient (kid delf Corni) probably late next year. It’s fun to find all the differences between the regular and mini dress designs though.

I did a photoshoot with Rin in the garden today because today, September 2nd, is the two-year anniversary of getting her! Rin was my first DD and thanks to her I have gone to many places and met many wonderful friends. It may sound weird and overblown but she really did change my life! She will always be incredibly important to me <3 She is also wearing the first outfit I bought for her, the Sugar Pink Corset Dress.
