Pathfinder rambling: Really wondering how much Pathfinder interfered with any of the other Arisen, other than clearly guiding the accomplished ones to Rothais to hopefully dethrone him. None alive any more who we could ask, I guess, and it didn't seem like the ones we meet would've even been considered without defeating the Dragon first. The Elder's not really helping much, either. By the end you know as much as him. For the current Arisen Pathfinder's doing a LOT of interfering, while I'm not even sure they're supposed to be known to mere humans and Arisen alike. Phaesus looks cooler by the minute, considering he knows of their existence at least. A Seneschal might know of them, and sure, Rothais does, but also not closely, just as a higher force he doesn't even have an official name for. So I guess Pathfinder really hates introducing themselves and we just assign them a name, just like everyone else. Or perhaps losing your name is something that comes with time, just like DD2's Dragon seemingly doesn't have a name any more. Adds to the narrative, imo. You can tell Pathfinder's running out of patience by the time the current Arisen arrives in Battahl and keep poking their head in, even though they are most definitely not meant to. You're always meant to choose freely in DD. Just sucks that the choices suck and your decision to go against it is the most painful one, you know? Anyway, for all the interfering they did do they could've also just gone straight to Disa to get Vermund back on track and support the current Arisen from the beginning, and yanked up Rothais to a more accessible place. After all that when you decide to fight your Dragon, win and then talk to them afterwards, their annoyed 'why do you pursue me, Arisen?' becomes funnier the more you think about it. They're SO done. I need more of that.
