Humming. It was just something that usually calmed Alice down when she was nervous, but right now not even that was helping as she sat just outside the train, looking up at the sky. She wasn't sure why she was so nervous, she loved people and there were plenty around. Maybe it was because she was worried they wouldn't like her. She'd never really been around anyone besides those she'd gone to school with and her sister, and even then that didn't really count. As she looked up at the sky, the humming stopped as she found her mind wandering off into her own little wonderland.
The small girl wandered her way into the thicket of flowers just as she had the day before, but this time it was different. She was smarter now, knew what to expect. In her fist she held the small morsel that she knew would help her raise above the flowers, far far above them, so they couldn't scare her any longer. Of course, when the fearsome creature spotter her, the dandilion took a deep breath and-
Just as she was getting further and further into her own little world, her own voice startled her. Sometimes she didn't realize that she spoke when she went off into the far depths of her mind, and when she got that far gone, that was that. She couldn't stop herself. A blush crept across her cheeks as she glanced around, hoping that nobody had heard her speaking her story out loud, but of course there was someone standing nearby. Alice bit her lip, clearly embarrassed. "O-oh...hello!" She started, standing up and brushing off her skirt. "I...I'm Alice...who are you?"
