Unexpected Guests | Sif && Cal
Sif had disappeared from the carnival grounds as soon as things started to power down, and had only just now returned. It was safe at this time, though, what with most everyone being asleep already. Those who weren’t, well, she hoped they wouldn’t spot her. “Come on.” She murmured softly to her companion as she snuck onto the train, attempting to be as quiet as possible. Sif couldn’t deny the fact that she was anxious, a nervous buzz set into her bones, like a worried hive of bees. When she got to the room she was looking for, she knocked lightly, hoping it’d be enough to catch the attention of the person inside. “Calhoun!” She whispered, pulling the hood of her black jacket down so her face was no longer obscured by shadows. “It’s me. I need you to open the door, quietly, please. It’s important.” Sif glanced around her, listening for anyone other than Calhoun, for footsteps in the hall with her.
