My last post got a few hits and I'm so so thrilled that other people like DDHB!

So here's some more headcanons!

SFW ones, may do a NSFW one later!

HB absolutely loves PDA, DD is a little shyer about it, but he will hold hands, especially in the car, he can drive with one hand!

HB loves to cook for DD, unfortunately DD is an extremely fussy eater, but over the years, HB has learned exactly what to cook and how to prepare it. DD will often turn his nose up at dinner unless HB cooks for the crew.

DD's favourite thing to do on a quiet night is to sit in HB's lap and watch noir films together. He sits sideways in his lap, his back against the arm of the couch.

HB is the only person allowed to wake DD up (at his proper wake up time), and he does so with a kiss on the cheek.

DD really does try to be romantic, he's not as romantic as HB, but he will go out of his way to fetch little gifts (usually robbed from some schmuck on the street) or treat him to a mugging date.

One time, early on in their relationship, HB fixed up DD's tie, gently, and to this day, it is the most romantic thing anyone has done for him.

So I headcanon that Droog very much values his sleep, like he will thrash you if you wake him up early for no good reason, even if you are Spades Slick, ESPECIALLY if you are Spades Slick.

Anyway, on cold nights however, he finds it really hard to fall asleep, his bed just doesn't seem to warm up, no matter what. So on those nights, he quietly creeps into Hearts Boxcars' room and silently slips into his bed, curling up against HB. His bed is always nice and warm.

Hearts is a relatively light sleeper, but he pretends to be asleep. He waits until DD is just about asleep before rolling onto his side to spoon him.

Droog always snuggles just a little bit closer before he falls asleep.
