Thank you so much to everyone who joined us last Friday for another wonderful Drink & Draw Like a Lady!

Thank you to everyone who made the event a success, especially Susan at The Productive for letting us use her co-working space for the party, Work Made for Hire who helped sponsor the event, Savannah Zambrano who designed the flyer, Clare DeZutti who designed the stickers and also the chalk welcome sign, everyone who brought food, drink, donations, helped set up and stayed late to break down the event.

And thank you to everyone who came to the party! We don’t have a final count, but it was more than last year and we had 229 people RSVP to the Facebook event page. Seeing this many women who love comics in one room makes our hearts grow three sizes. See you all next year!

One week until Drink and Draw Like a Lady 2015! 

Here’s a peek at the awesome stickers designed by Clare DeZutti that will be available at the party for everyone who donates. If you donated via the PayPal, just let us know when you get there and you’ll receive your sticker (while supplies last). If you want to bring a food or drink item to share, these also count as your donation.

It’s time again for the pre-MoCCA Fest Drink and Draw Like a Lady!

If you are a woman who reads, writes, draws, colors, edits, markets, reviews, or enjoys comics, this party is for you. All ages are welcome, you must be 21 to drink. Ladies only, please.

The party will be held on Friday April 10th from 7 pm to 11:30 pm at The Productive (40 W. 38th Street between 5th and 6th Ave. 5th floor)

Work Made for Hire is generously helping sponsor the event again. If you’re a creative person who wants to protect your rights and get paid fairly for the work you do, check out their services!

Drink and Draw Like a Lady is organized by volunteers. Your donations help us to make the party as awesome as possible! We have a PayPal donation button on the top of our Tumblr page. We also welcome food, drink and cash donations at the party.
