A New Beginning

I’ve found that I’m the type who gets sculpts not because they’re popular / limited / more affordable than the rest, but for their potential. I first got the DDS M.O.M.O. sculpt because I liked that it was bordering on Super Dollfie aesthetic, something I still very much appreciate. 

I kept her default faceup for a while, not knowing what to do with her. It’s a sweet faceup, but it felt a little too calm and sleepy to me. Took me a few years, but I finally took the plunge and gave her a makeover. 

I sent Kiera off to my friend Raentheria, who’s done faceups on Leela (Saber Alter V2) and Soleil (Lati Yellow Sunny). Normally I just let Raentheria work her magic, only giving her a color scheme or vague descriptions of what I want, but for Kiera, I asked for quite a few specific things. I think she did an A++ job! It felt like having a brand new doll. <3

There apparently aren’t a whole lot of customized M.O.M.O.s out there, so I hope that my leap of faith in giving her a makeover will encourage other M.O.M.O. owners to customize theirs. :)
