I’m hoping for more dolly bonding time for everyone, for grail dolls to come home, for y’all to be able to spoil your dolls with clothes and wigs and shoes. And if you don’t have a doll yet, may your first doll find their way to you!

I’m not so excited about catching up with doll blog backlog, but I love sharing my crew and my friends’ crews as well, so I’ll be doing my darnedest best to catch up!

PREVIEW: Grail Unboxing Meet! ❤︎

Last April 1, I dragged some of my friends in Dollfinas for an unboxing meet. People thought I was joking when they saw the Facebook Event invite. XD This is only a partial group photo, missing three dolls. Two of them had to leave early, while one stayed in the bag because her owner was too lazy to bring her back out. XD

I’ll be editing the unboxing video and the rest of the photos this coming week! I hope I can share them soon, it’s no fun playing catch-up with backlog all the time. :(

How to make a doll “on topic” OuO

#Dollfinas is the Dollfie Dream-centric subcommunity of ManikaManila, our local doll community. Technically, Dollfie Dreams and SmartDolls are considered “on topic” but BJDs are not, but they’re still welcome to join us at meetups! Of course, we’ll find ways for them to fit right in. XD

This was done just for kicks, and we’re not actually strict about what dolls can pop up at meets. I’m glad that the owners were such good sports while I went around tacking anime eyes onto their dolls’ hands a la Pan’s Labyrinth Pale Man. :P

#Dollfinas 4th Anniversary Meet!

Last month, #Dollfinas celebrated its 4th anniversary! Imagine, four whole years of the Dollfie Dream and Smartdoll owners (that we're aware of) in the Philippines meeting up and bonding over our mutual love of vinyl girls. 

 It was a fairly small gathering, all things considered. We enforced a "3 dolls per owner" rule to make sure the restaurant wouldn't be overrun with dolls. XD I didn't get a whole lot of photos because I spent most of my time /posing/ as many of the girls as I could! 

Every time #Dollfinas members meet up, I feel like a kid on Christmas day. I regularly get to see and play with many of the sculpts and custom DDs that I admire, and even though the comm tends to "poison" you into adopting new dolls, they actually save me a lot of money! If it weren't for them letting me handle their dolls, I would probably have a dozen customized DDH-06 and Sabers. XD Here's to the last four years, and who knows how many more!

Leela and Kiera are two of hopefully many of my girls who’ll be getting custom Raentheria faceups! I know a lot of people don’t usually wipe their limited Dollfie Dreams’ faceups, but I have zero regrets with my decisions here. :D

I’m working on getting through a lot more backlog for all my blogs, with a couple of posts specifically for this blog. Hoping to share soon!

PREVIEW: Girls’ Day Out! ❤︎

December has been super hectic for me, and that meant my girls wouldn’t get out much. I was dropping off a doll with my friend Jackie / Raentheria and we decided to turn it into a mini-meet! I brought Kiera and Mama-san (not in photo), while Jackie brought Shio and Blanc. :D

Jackie had to run off somewhere real quick and I found myself very outnumbered by dolls. Of course Kiera would be the one to suggest they go off and explore the mall by themselves. -__- Plenty of thanks to auntie Jackie for the alpaca backpacks (backpaca?)! Now my girls can run off with MORE things. XD

I’ll post the full photostory soonest I can, but for now, I wanted to remember the day with a quick post. ❤︎
