Today's shave

Tried a sample of Taylor of Old Bond St shaving cream and its pretty nice. Lots of lather from a dime size amount. Enough that i had three passes with plenty left over. Very slick maybe too slick since i cut my lip not paying as much attention as i should have using a new cream and with a safety razor in general. Good scent i used Coconut but not very strong on ur face and it doesnt linger at all.

All in all 3/5

Ill probably stick to soaps but im keeping my samples available for travelling since they are a good size for planes and tightly sealed. I almost couldnt open the sample i used today lol.

A lot of people learn how to wetshave from their fathers or grandfathers. My dad doesn't use a double edged razor, he uses a straight razor. Granted, since I'm a girl he wouldn't have taught me how to shave anyway, but I still had to learn all on my own and I think that's a good place to start. I'm learning through trial and error and I want to share that with any of you who want to try safety razors.

I tried shaving with cold water for the first time since i started wet shaving (february i think?) And wow. I got a closer shave much less irration and it was really nice since its been so hot this week. Recommend to everyone that shaves their face (it would probably work just as good on other places but idk anybody who wants to be fully in cold water long enough to shave their legs but try it if you want)

Also i should probably buy aftershave

When I was introduced to Vikings Blade, I thought it was a brand just looking to sell its products. The blades are super sharp and leave me with clean, soft shaves. I don’t know about you but the extra 5 blades is a blessing for me. The blades are so super sharp; I use them for an average of 5 shaves. The razor is quite hefty and gives this confidence of strength. I have not had a cut since I started using it and I believe I’ll be right to say it is the best razor for wet shaving.

Just to add, it comes with a lifetime warranty. This is probably the company’s way of saying we got your back forever. It is cheap to buy and maintain. Everything a DE razor can provide, the Vikings Blade provides it at a much lesser price.
