Sitting together on a bench, casually enjoying the day and each other's company, Nedy finds himself more invested with observing the company he kept and his mouth speaks his thoughts before he could think to not. But De'Verro is an obliging guy (but really, just for certain individuals, but he won't tell him that), so he lets him investigate more closely. Nedy's eyes are wide and he can't help but laugh, but certainly not to mock him, and despite his better judgement is compelled by curiosity to reach out and touch the one held out before him. De'Verro's hands are... big. So big the taller Neverhoodian notices how small Nedy's are by comparison. Small hands, perhaps, but greatly enjoyable to hold. Far more than expected. The moment lingered, warm and pleasant between their palms, and it was really no surprise that they found themselves smiling.

I’m genuinely not sure if I’ve posted anything about him on tumblr before, but he’s here now.

This is De’Verro, the brainchild of the idea of if a Neverhoodian could apply limbs other than their own and control them as such.

De’Verro was born (grown?) on the Neverhood, same as any other Hoodian you’ll likely meet, but due to an accident that occurred after only a year or so ended up falling right off the edge and had been presumed dead during the years to follow (roughly 375 years, to be exact). Now he’s back and ready to lounge in every luxury he can afford. Unlike other Hoodians, however, he lacks the ability to regenerate and fears pain and death above all because of it. Charming and adept with every single one of his hands, he opens a spa house as a masseur after spending some time as a street magician, though he still enjoys performing every now and then since he greatly enjoys the crowds and impressed applause he gets every time he does. De’Verro also has an uncanny knowledge of every pressure-point on a Hoodian’s body as well as their anatomy, and perhaps as a result of this wisdom his massages are downright heavenly. As a couple other random facts, De'Verro is very skilled with swords (specifically fencing swords) and likes hanging upside-down. His hair-stems often get in his face so perhaps being upside-down helps remove this inconvenience as well as generally helping him feel strangely better. He knows it's weird but he doesn't care about what others think of his hobbies. He has a respect for those stronger or of higher status than himself, keenly aware of his own flaws even as he strives to overcome them, and will most likely try to charm his way into the good graces of those in higher places.

And, of course, he has many dark secrets.
