Exploring the 'wealth.
Deacon's model lacks eyebrows, so every time I see him drawn with eyebrows, my mind immediately goes "he drew those on with marker lmaoo"
Like he might be able to find fake eyebrows or smth, but the image of him trying to find good{not overly radioactive} markers for this, and drawing them on in a little hand mirror whenever he needs to put them on, is oddly hilarious to me.

I am admittedly not well-versed in canon Deacon lore or your headcanons, so I must ask: why do you draw Deacon with scars on his forehead and face? Is it related to him being a synth? Is it him getting some sort of facial reconstruction to be unrecognizable? Is it something you headcanon (and if so do lore dump for me)?
hi! so it’s a headcanon design choice rooted in canon.
canonically deacon has gotten full facial surgeries multiple times. and while there are plenty of places in the wasteland to get decent surgery, unless you’re somewhere like the vegas strip, it can still be a pretty messy ordeal. the fact deacon also does this for work implies a very short window of time for the operation itself and the healing afterwards. so all these factors (repeated surgery, quick turnaround time, potentially having to go to different doctors, etc) reads to me as something that’s gonna leave fairly obvious scars.
that said, scars are so common in the wasteland, it’d be weirder if deacon didn’t have some sort of mark on him. plus, they’re easy enough to cover up with wigs and hats and other pieces of a disguise, so ppl wouldn’t notice the same scars over and over.
and there’s so many bald characters i just like to make him stand out
couldn’t help it
I wanna lick that bald man's head
