On this opening day of the 2018 #ACC tournament, here’s an interesting fact. On March 6, 1954, Dickie Hemric led @wakebasketball in the first-ever ACC tourney at Reynolds Coliseum. He was named Most Outstanding Player of the event and scored 26 points in the championship game. Alas, N.C. State beat the #Deacs 82-80 to claim the title. Hemric was enshrined in the N.C.
