- It seems the Senate might be appearing skeptical of Section 230 repeal. Which is a good thing. Repealing it or changing it would literally break a founding property of the internet. It was cause all sorts of bad things here in the US and even outside of it. Every platform based in the US would be affected here and in other countries if they changed/repealed it in any way!
- GrapheneOS (Is a custom, security-hardened version of Android built for Pixel devices. Its sole goal is to be as secure as Android can get. One of its core features is sandboxed Play Services, which allows using Google services in a fully isolated environment in which they can't access sensitive information.) I am glad they are against age verfication and will not be bending the knee they shouldn't at all!
- NetChoice is trying to support Meta this court case. Basically, Vermont is saying, "but the children" like they always claim. It should watch your kids and set limits like a good parent! So that is why NetChoice is supporting Meta.
