In the last few weeks my news feed on Facebook has Donald Trump's name or face in just as but every other headline and I can't stand it anymore. I deactivated my Facebook til after the election and I told my husband that Trump will be synonymous with my former abuser and his name will not be spoken. Ever. I'm done. I'm not going to let his ugly face or his ugly words poison my life anymore. I'll rejoin social media when the media is no longer obsessed with him. Til then, it's just you n me, Tumblr.

Facebook Detox - Day 6

Hola, my bday was yesterday today I did chores and worked out, and my cousin took me to go have an alcoholic drink and I got these cool charms too from LOZ it's pretty dope to be honest.

Facebook Detox - Day 4

I have no idea if that's the right day, I didn't get to walk but I did do a lot with my folks today, my mom's opening a second restaurant so it's gettin' kinda hectic but I'm dealing. Also did a lot of cleaning around the house today, gonna try and get it straightened up proper or try to.

FB Detox - Day 3

Went for a 2.5 mile walk and worked out in the garage. Chilled mostly but felt super good about now having to really deal with FB. ^^

FB Detox - Day 2

So far so good, drew a little today and hung with my family, as in had breakfast with all of them for once. It's been a chill day it's real rainy over here lately so not much to do.

Idea

So I'm going to log my FB detox, as in what I am doing now that I don't have FB and how productive I am. Like right now it's not even been thirty minutes and I've felt my heart feel weird like I guess an energy shift. Stay tuned I'll do a day by day every day at about let's say 9 pm for now.

you know what causes us so much distress? being so outward about life like always thinking about other people and how they view us and how many likes we get as if it is important for who we are as a person. i need to disconnect and retreat inward
