When you join a "dead" fandom knowing that it'll be difficult to find active RP partners and then, on top of that, life shits in your soda so epically that you go through a whole thing... and now you're good to RP again... and there's no option for your comfort ship on here or twitter. Fuck calling it X.

ugh i just want to read something that’s amazing but also something i haven’t read before

I’m stuck on a characterization gut check thing, what is believable vs what is wishful thinking. But it’s a fandom where no one’s really hanging out anymore, and where I don’t know of any serious character meta, and canon itself stumbled around pretty badly when it came to the issues involved.

I’m so used to talking these things out that I’ve been stalled out on making this one decision for days now. I’m just extremely frustrated right now.

Problem: I need XYZ scene to happen now between K. and Ann because it sets a foundation and I can’t honestly see the same conversation happening in the 6 months later stuff.

Problem: I can’t think of a way to believably get K. back out there to make that scene happen.

Problem: I couldn’t believably put that scene in the part where they initially met bc it would have been forced and wrong.

Problem: half my story hinges on less isolation and not completely forgetting about Ann’s existence, so she needs to be woven in.

Problem: the lying involved is so complicated that I don’t know that even i completely grasp it and I’d rather avoid it but OTOH the truth is part of a plot bomb that doesn’t go off until 15 plot months later
