This idea decided to pop into my head when I was working on the Square one dreamtale meme. No idea why, also gave me an excuse to try some new brushes

30 minute doodle. I just wanted a sad Sans.

Sans and Papyrus are descendants of the powerful arcane Gaster (inexplicably missing) and they’re the only ones that dominate the knowledge about rare magics.

Papyrus believed that the war began with a misunderstanding, so he became ambassador to participate in the peace agreement. But the meeting was a trap and Papyrus eventually died.

Sans was unhappy with his brother's death. Then he made a deal with Flowey and gave the flower all the souls of humans who died in the war. Flowey became powerful and returned the time.

Sans volunteered himself to be an ambassador in place of Papyrus and switched places with his brother. He used magic shield and survived the blast, but he  entered a coma for two years.

Irritated, Papyrus has become discredited in humans and when the war ended he became part of the Province of the Sun.

Sans recovered and is now part of the Province of the Moon to try to take his brother's heart rage.
