Yes! It is a post apocalyptic world! So it would make sense that other people would try to steal the cargo. Because resources are so limited and have value.

Kojima: No. The scavangers are children of people who used to deliver cargo. To them it is like a DRUG. It is an ADDICTION to DELIVER. It is just deep in their DNA.

Also because I cant accept cliff is dead in canon I sugest and Everyone lives Au(kinda)

Where higgs and Cliff and possibly diehardman(i havent finished the game yet) dont die and sam takes them back to the starting city. Cliff still is connected to the tar and bts but Sam is slowly and very much happily building a relationship with him and cliff is LITTERLY 100% the best dad material. Will protec and attac

Higgs after the whole thing he was manipulated comes out ect ect you know sam is like ok let's give this another shot and slowly gets him therapy along with the others (I personally think Ameile possibly had some sort of mind altering abilities as well seeing how much of a pain she turned out to be so far) After a while Sam and Higgs fall in love!! That's all I got so far but I'm excited about this Au as a possibility

I just remembered how Deadman called himself Frankensteins monster and in the book the monster is abandoned by Frankenstein for months to learn the world all by himself (and rationalise why everyone was scared of him)

I wonder how he was made??? And did other people notice the stitching on his head?
