So I just downloaded all three DLCs for PoE and a mod called “The Class Project” on Steam that opens up a frig ton of background choices and class tweaks in the character creation.

Y’know what that means?

I’m gonna have to do a whole new playthrough of my Watcher, Alfons.

Starring the wizard bfs

Been shipping the Watcher with Aloth since POE came out and now Aloth is romanceable. Hell ye. 

Anyway, In my headcanon my Watcher, Alfons Dugald, was 28 when the events of POE came about. Since Aloth is 60(ish) and a more experienced wizard than Alfons, I imagine Alfons sought after Aloth for tips on spells and magic. Despite being Alfons’ senior, Aloth followed and grew to respect Alfons because of his benevolent, diplomatic, and passionate demeanor. The two were good friends until, y’know, Deadfire, where the two became more than friends.
