Depends on the AU, but in the WoW-verse, she died due to an incurable illness.

Eva is a really pretty name any particular reason why you named her that

"Eva" is actually short for Deneva - a character I had played in Neverwinter Nights 2! I had posted art of her in my DeviantArt days as a kid, before I deleted my account.

Back then, Deneva was my Kalach-Cha, a human druid. Her WoW counterpart is a human mage. I've always loved druids and will often play as them first if a game allows for it haha

Are you ever going to turn the Warcraft au into a web comic even if it’s just a bunch of one shots?

I ask this because I’ve fallen in love with theses characters and I would not be against reading a full comic.

That's actually crazy that you ask because the Bonehowl family (really all of my characters ngl lol) are part of my own world I've been working on for a few years - even ran a homebrew one shot of it for my wife's birthday last year!

I've started working on a comic for the world Taegann and Krogak are from (in my notes, I just call it Prime) but I went back to the drawing board as I tweak out some worldbuilding hiccups.

As for the Warcraft AU of the Bonehowl family, I'll continue to draw them and post them here, including any asks I get of them along the way :)

How did korgak deal with Eva’s death? Did he push others away? Throw himself into taking care of his son ? Ask his family for help ?

He did his best to save face, but Eva meant the world to him.

Krogak is a shaman, and Eva was a mage. During the Battle of Mount Hyjal, Krogak became injured and faced certain death - until Eva saved him. He became injured, and had to rely on a cane to walk. Eva - although weary of him at first - would ask him questions about Draenor and elemental magic. In return, Krogak would ask Eva about her homeland. The two learned that they weren't that much different after all.

This mutual curiosity towards each other is what fostered their relationship, resulting in the birth of their son, Taegann.

Wait How old was Taegann when his mom died like I’m not very knowledgeable on the Warcraft lore ( what? do I look like mattpat? ) so I apologize if it is very obvious based off the events you’ve given us

You're good, no worries! Taegann would've been about 8-9 years old. He was born after the Battle of Mount Hyjal (Year 21) in Dustwallow Marsh. His mother passed shortly before the Bombing of Theramore (Year 30).

This site has a pretty detailed timeline of events that happened in Warcraft lore - it is SUPER helpful hahah

I like to think other members of the Horde - or at least the full-blooded orcs - think he's underwhelming. Taegann is definitely one who appreciates kindness.
