I don’t know if everybody else considers this clear as day but

to me, Deadlock/Drift comes across as a person who stares death in the eye. Like, if he’s in a situation there’s no way out except death, he’d stare at the one(s) about to kill him dead in the optic.

Without blinking an optic.

Without begging.

Without fear.

He stands his ground.

Do you think Deadlock/Drift would ever lean towards his bf for some pettings and finial and chin scritches? Because I'm absolutely certain he totally would do that.

Don't tell me that when it's cold on the ship, Deadlock/Drift doesn't emerge from his hab suite as a blanket burrito with only his optics visible.
