Alice blinked and than cringed. "Lizzie peoplllee ew and than I got to check my--of course I'll come." The female snickered as she than giggled, she had learned the check my---thing from a comedian, she had been watching tv as of late outside and here didn't get along, at least when she didn't want to.
Lizzie had a puzzled expression on her face at her words, but shook it off once she heard the agreement.
"Now you better not run off and get lost like before. I remember papa was in a sweat by the time you two returned home. All tired out from frantically searching for you. Papa told me you were asleep in a bush when he found you. Yet… You laughed without a care in the world when you got home, running up the stairs to tell me of your adventures," Lizzie spoke as she began to reminisce about that charming memory.
Lizzie closed her eyes and giggled. “Oh, I do remember that blissful look on your face, all covered with dirt and small leaves stuck in your hair and dress. You did not care though. Ah, you must have had so much fun with papa that day.”
She shook her head and opened her eyes once more, as if signaling that she finished thinking about that memory.
"Ah, enough of that. We can always talk about this another time. Come now, shall we go?"
