He is quite good at this. Most clowns are, aren’t they? Up goes one rubber ball, then a second and third. A fourth is added somewhere in that mix, a six, seventh and eighth. He smiles at her, his grin nearly splitting his painted cheeks.

He tosses a ball her way to catch, the others seem to evaporate. Behind them there is noise, a ringleader shouts something about the strongest man alive.
