Vespa's tribe seems to be the kind of tribe that chooses its members' names based on their abilities when they are more adults.
Hornet earned her name, Vespa didn't name Hornet that at first; she decided on that name for her after a lot of training and a naming ritual or something like that.
-Gooseworks: there's not gona be romance on my series
-Also Gooseworks: *proceeds on creating one of the best ship dinamics in the whole history*
I'm not someone who enjoy shipping characters but man, Abstragedy is just very well done that even became canon lol.
For what Gooseworks said time ago that the series would have no shipping or be romantic centric, I guess the chapter 9 of the show wasn't written or planificated yet. I think that the Abstragedy ship becoming canon in chapter 9 was done like: the writter looking at past episodes and saying "fuck, I'm really creating a relationship" and then is canon now, still being loyal to the subtitle narrative that make the development perfect.
Is a 9 chapters only show. But the narrative of that shipping is so good that doesn't feel rushed, everything feels so natural and progressive because of what shots and moments was choosen to narrate the thing. Is refreshing to see a romance not ruining a character but making it better.
The worst part about having watched the finale of TADC... is that I have to wait 2 weeks for see it again in youtube...
But this is a programmed opinion so I would be watching the finale again as you read this 😎
Spoiler warning and such
First, the cinema experience was great! There was people doing cosplay and I got a pop corn bucket!!
About the chapter, as it is common in the digital circus chapters, It was a very tense watching, all the cinema was in silence or crying because of the acts. Jax telling the thing about his mother and how it turned slowly into 3rd person again... I can't stop thinking about it, it was amazing.
ALSO JAX IS FUCKING DEAD 😭😭😭
"Hey guys, have all of my backstory and vulnerability and such but I'm now abstracted okay?"
WHY?? 😭😭😭 I'm devastated like, he's alive but is abstracted now, can't interact anymore.
And unpopular opinion, but I prefered Caine being dead, I sensed him being redeemed a bit rushed tbh. He has his cool "okay, I'm gonna fix this" moments, but when it was revealed that he was in the trash bin all the time. I was surprised and the rest of the cinema too (really loved how everyone pointed at him gasping). I respect if someone liked him being alive, I even had friends crying when he was slowly becoming more human with the circus members teaching him their games and tradicions, witch was certainly cute.
(Also ironic moment the fish spoilig Caine being dead for the people that reacted to chapter 8 in the own theatre, I had a friend upset because of that and he's right to be like that, I hope Glitch has that on mind if they has the chance of shown again in the big screen one of their shows.
The finale is bittersweet, because we had told the real names of the circus users and that they are happily living in the real world having archiving the character development they wanted in the circus, and the own circus users knowing that and now living with the peace in their digital hearts that their human versions are safe, but... We know the digital copies, the whole show is about them. If well Jax is okay in the real world, is "dead" in the digital one, abstracted, he can't interact with the crew members anymore the way he used to do, and the series is over so he is just gonna stay like that canoninally ever. Despite that destroying my mind, I really liked the lesson the character teached. Jax in the circus refused any help and was a dick to everyone, so he died. Leroy (Jax of the real world) acepted the help of his friends so he could remade his life and had a happy ending.
ALSO THE GIRLS HAD SEX. GANGLE AND ZOOBLE HAD SEX! I KNEW THERE WAS SOMENTHING HAPPENING BETWEEN THEM!!
I remember that when the chapter 2 of The Amazing Digital Circus came out, someone drew a picture about Kaufmo's funeral. The protagonist of that drawing was Jax hidded behind a wall meanwhile was crying trying to dry his tears and also looking at the funeral.
I tried to look for that art everywere, but the creator deleted it's Instagram acount so I can't find it anymore 😭
I know is gonna be hard to find somenthing that was drew two years ago, but please if someone knows where to find that specific art or the artist tell me, I'm desesperated :,)
The Palid king sounds like the kind of guy that would has his very intimidating area for do his king stuff but he has a place on his desk destinated to an inexperiended craft that his son made for him.
"I been graduated from animation school two years ago and no one hired me yet"
"graduated recently, I been looking for a job months, the art industry is so wrong"
Dude, your art looks like this:
I find funny when I see on internet clearly young people protesting that they don't find an animation job after graduation or using that for victimice themselves because, real topic: graduating yourselve from an art school doesn't mean that you are ready.
Most of the tv studios are looking for people that has a portfolio already that shows creations that could be perfectly apearing on a TV Show.
Ah yes, and hard take here: battle animations are the most easy thing to do and the less they require. Most shows are looking for half body acting, indeed the hardest thing to representate because you have to understand what the character is thinking, not just "piuh piuh, they beat each other". You have to be an actor for be an animator, don't forget that.
"But how do I'm gonna get experience if no one hired me?"
Good news: you can get experience animating by your own without getting a job. The school was for that, to give you the route you have to follow for improve by your own and where to go.
