a boss battle song for fighting my muse
as a rpg fan ( specifically final fantasy ) it physically HURTS me that all of the officially orchestrated sailor moon music that has felt pretty ‘eh’ to me. i used this track for what her boss theme would be if she was a boss in kh. ( i like it but it’s fan made and sounds it ) in my heart of hearts i know cosmos is final boss material™. she would definitely be that boss with multiple forms (ex. kefka, sephiroth, ultimecia, etc.) with different themes throughout and man is she creepy. like really, really creepy. if she was an antagonist in a video game, she would definitely be in a game like ffx / ffxiii where you’re defying her god and she god wouldn’t like her children acting in such a way. ( be afraid of her. i’m scared just thinking about it tbh!!!! ).
i feel like her boss themes would have a lot of vocals / choirs in them so to set the creepiness factor right, her first phase would be set to what is easily my favorite track in nier: automata: the copied city. i was actually going to chill on the vocals here but then i remembered the theme of a certain female resident evil villain and i just had to include it. i had to. her second phase theme is: theme of alexia type i. this track fits because there’s this unease to it ( as you shouldn’t be in her realm at all, let alone fighting her ) but there’s this almost angelic vibe to it at times ( specifically at 0:58 ) so it bridges the gap between her first and last phase themes very well in my opinion. the opera singing is also very *chef kiss*. her ‘last and final phase is: you may call me mother father. i love this track so much. i almost considered the greatest jubilee but honestly outside of one part i really love ( here ), the rest of it isn’t very to me memorable overall. you may call me father is wonderful from beginning to end. the build up of the choir, trumpets, flutes, etc. from 1:45 - 2:23 is so heavenly and fitting for her.

because she’s a mom in all universes, she would probably get tired of let it go after having to hear it hundreds of times? kids: mom we wanna watch the elsa movie again!!! cosmos, shattering a glass with her bare hands as she smiles tightly: o-okay :)))))))))))))))))))))
