A man trapped beneath a collapsed parking garage was rescued after nearly four days of coordinated work.

Urban Search and Rescue teams from Los Angeles County and Miami joined specialists from Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Portugal, El Salvador, and Mexico. Teams developed strategies, rotated personnel, and continued working until the man could be removed.

Rescuers searching a collapsed residential building in Venezuela heard signs of life beneath unstable rubble.

The team began a careful confined-space operation. After approximately 10 hours of work, rescuers reached a woman alive beneath the debris and transported her for medical treatment.

First AUSLAN (Australian sign language) class just done and I think I'm in love with the language.
