thinking. about dean. how he says he enjoys killing, and how that scares him. how he hates that he likes it. but. i wonder. does he like killing simply because its something he's good at, something he's praised for? the man yearns for approval, to feel like he matters and is making a difference. he wants to feel useful. he wants to help and protect. and if he's good at killing, that means he can get and do all of that. its all he knows how to do, because he lives for others, and thats what others have said is his fate. he's a mirror. he's a bullet shell. he's a black hole. he needs love and he gives it by protecting. by killing. and he wishes so badly to be valued for anything other than his ability to destroy.
