Anon, your reading comprehension is out of this fucking world! Cause it doesnt exist. Using Dean's "bad diet" and ADDITIONALLY the false narrative of him being "unsanitary" (the dude who, by the way, episodes into Season 1 was thrilled by the amazing water pressure, is seen showering frequently in select episodes, recoils at handrails and witches for being unhygienic, and as Dean Smith was HYPERaware of his own diet and inner cleanliness) often being used against his character when people want to headcanon him as a bottom, is reminiscent of homophobic sentiments surrounding the literal and metaphorical cleanliness of gay men as extended by the discussion on anal sex. Homophobia in real life has manifested in similar backwards beliefs and comments in conservative countries LIKE MINE who used to think that being gay and having anal sex involved feces, that it was dirty and filthy, and that bottoms cant control their bowel movements. So yeah! Insisting that Dean's bad diet is some sort of fixed fact on his character and assuming that he wouldnt be able to control his shit at any given point in time does sound like homophobic rhetoric. As a gay man myself don't act oblivious because that wasn't what Wincestwhispers was trying to say. Dont put words in people's mouth.

And FYI, Dean is a fictional character, if you didn't know!

Exactly, anon. You understood completely what I was trying to say. I honestly didn’t think I would need to clarify considering how well known that form of homophobia has always been to me, and was why I said anything in the first place, but alas. Fandom wank is one thing, homophobic and fatphobic rhetoric (what I see the most of with Dean discourse) is another, and something I don’t easily let slide.

I do apologize for the late reply to this, honesty I stopped reading my Asks for a few days after the initial discourse/anon hate you’re referencing. I’m also not posting this to cause any further discourse, but rather because I think you explained the whole issue very well and I’d like to share this in case anyone else misunderstood my point.
