He looked up to see you standing in the doorway, already in your pajamas which just happened to be one of his old t-shirts. Sam had gone to bed hours ago.
"Aren't you coming to bed?" you asked him, your forehead creased a little.
"I'm not tired," Dean sighed. "I'll be fine. I should keep working on this."
You stepped farther into the room. The floor was cold on your bare feet and the gentle padding sound of your steps echoed softly. "But if you don't," you said, stopping behind him and looping your arms around his neck, "I'll be so lonely without you. Come lay with me so I can feel whole again and fall asleep," you murmured. Your body leaned in against his and you nuzzled into the crook of his neck.
Dean sighed and his eyes closed, but he couldn't help smiling. His hand rested lightly on your forearm. "Are you trying to seduce me into healthy sleeping patterns?" he chuckled.
"Maybe," you hummed, kissing his neck. "Is it working?"
Dean laughed again. "Yes. Yes, it is."
"Oh, good," you breathed against his skin, and Dean could hear that you were smiling.
"Question..." Dean said softly. "You wearing anything else under that Metallica t-shirt?"
Now, it was your turn to laugh. "Why don't you come to bed and find out?"
"Oh, I'm definitely finding out," he said, pushing back from the table and turning just in time to see you scampering away toward the bedroom, biting your bottom lip.

a/n 2: part 4 of the Dean Drabbles
Part 1 - Babe Part 2 - Need You Now Part 3 - Taste
Dean collapses on top of you, panting heavily as he continues to spill himself inside of you. He places sweet and gentle kisses over your face, neck and shoulders. You’re in heaven, maybe it was a little inappropriate to go from your ex’s bed straight to Deans, but you needed him.
He pulls his softening cock out of you, and cuddles up next to you - Dean Winchester, a cuddler - you laugh to yourself.
“Wanna come with us when we leave?”
“I’ll follow you wherever you will go,” you turn around to face him, placing a kiss on his lips.
Summary: In a world where finding a soulmate has become extremely rare, Dean and Y/N are lucky to have found each other.

Music was playing softly in the kitchen as Dean walked in. He stopped for a few seconds to admire the woman standing at counter, preparing lunch. An adoring smile made its way to his lips as he walked forwards and wrapped his arms around her waist, her back pressed to his chest, and temple resting against his chin. The two of them slowly swayed to the music, relishing in the peace.
He could smell her scent, the aroma only increasing the content feeling in his chest. Her soft skin against his only added to the warmth in his heart. The sound of her humming soothed his restless mind. And her as a whole let him know that he was home. It was all very sappy, but all very real.
Dean slipped an arm from around her waist and from under her hand as he glided his rough finders to her wrist, flipping her hand palm up. He heard her let out a soft breath as he caressed his thumb over the similar mark embedded on his own wrist.
He couldn’t believe how lucky he was to have been able to find her – to find his soulmate. Years ago, the notion of soulmates had only been a myth, a legend, but here he was, one of the lucky ones. Out of all the billions of people in the world, with oceans splitting them apart, he had managed to find his. His parents weren’t soulmates, his grandparents weren’t soulmates, everyone else he had known that was married weren’t soulmates. Even with Y/N, her parent’s weren’t soulmates, in fact, they ended up having a divorce, which had become an epidemic.
“Never in my life had I ever thought that I’d actually meet my soulmate,” Dean whispered. “I can’t even begin to explain to everyone how I feel. Even six years later, two babies playing in the next room, I still can’t form any words.”
A small smiled spread on Y/N’s lips, knowing exactly what he was talking about. She also thought that she would never find her soulmate. The world was changing, people were constantly moving, disappearing, and the population was only getting bigger. To find a soulmate has somewhat become something like finding a needle in a hay stack… damn near impossible. But, as if God willed it, Y/N and Dean had managed to find each other. All they had to do was meet once, and the identical mark on their wrists would appear, and the feelings they felt… the feelings she felt… If Y/N had to explain it, she’d probably say it was perfect, but it was more than that. The feeling of being whole was indescribable, so much better than perfect.
“We’re the lucky ones,” Y/N cooed softly, her eyes slipping shut.
“A coupla lucky son’s a bitches,” he chuckled, Y/N following along.
“Be careful what you say, Sweetheart, there are always ears listening,” Y/N warned.
As if on cue, two rambunctious children came running into the kitchen. “Daddy said a bad word! Momma!” Shouted their five-year old boy, mop of dirty blond hair covering his green eyes.
“Daddy needs a time out,” Y/N stated, pulling away from Dean to scoop up her son.
“Time out, time out!” Their three-year old chanted, pointing at Dean, thick dark locks falling out of her ponytail (haphazardly done by her father).
“Alright, alright,” Dean took her into his arms. “Daddy knows the rules,” Dean laughed.
“The lucky ones,” Y/N whispered to herself, smiling at her little family.

♛ Imagine Calling Your Best Friend Since Childhood At 3am...
This year was different. They actually had a home. Even a fucking tree. A real pine tree. The fresh, woodsy scent tickled his nose every time he walked to the bookshelf. Sam would never admit it. But he loved it. The way everything made him feel. He felt warm inside. For the first time in a long while. It was worth it. The two hours Dean drove to get the last tree.
It was an absolute contrast to the Christmas’ he’d grown up with. Grocery store fried chicken (if they were lucky) and a plastic, table top tree that Dean probably stole from the front desk. It wasn’t ideal but Dean tried. And, that was enough.
It was that one year, Sam recalled like the back of his hand, that John cried for Mary over a bottle of Jack to ease the pain of missing her. It was then that Sam realized what Christmas was about. It wasn't about what he ate or what tree he had to decorate or even where they stayed (the foul Scarlet room motel was by far the worst in Sam’s books). It was about having his brother by his side- blood pumping and chest heaving. And, his father. He tried his best. Sam knows that now. He was a good man dealt a bad hand of cards.
That’s when Sam began to wonder. He wondered about what it would be like to be a father. If he’d be a good one. He knew for sure that Dean would be great. But, no matter what he thought, it wasn’t in their destiny. It was never meant to be. The white picketed fences and freshly baked cookies. That dream ended with Jess.
“Sammy.” Dean’s voice dragged him away from his thoughts, “I bought an actual chicken. No nuggets, no patties. We’re going to feast.”
Sam chuckled, an appreciative smile crawled it’s way onto his face at his brother’s delight. He set down the book in his hand- ‘A Christmas Carol’
“So, you went all out huh?”
“Heck yeah!”
That’s when it finally settled. The last piece to his puzzle. His life might not be what he wanted or what he expected. But, it was alright. It turned out just fine. Despite it all. All he ever really needed to feel fulfilled, was his smartass bigger brother.
“Merry Christmas Dee.”
A/N: Merry Christmas Everyone. I hope it’s blessed and incredibly enjoyable. Lots of love. Ari.
