WHAT HAPPENED WITH EMILY LOTHARIO 5/5 (AND LAST)

But also to Emily's surprise, after the slap Dean didn't get aggressive or tried to offend her again, on the contrary, the blow seemed to appease him, making him change his arrogant attitude for a more humble one.

"I'm sorry, Emily, I didn't mean what I said, the last thing I wanted was to offend you, I didn't want to hurt you and the kids either. Now I just want to end this in peace. Please, let's talk", he told her, as soon as he was able to recover.

Emily felt bad at the moment for hitting him. But, well, at least it had done some good.

"I'm sorry too", she admitted. "Like I said, I'm not an abusive person, but you weren't nice at all and I snapped out of it, so I apologize again for that. As for us talking-- you and I have nothing left to talk about. You cut me out of your life years ago, today I do the same. I'll have my lawyer call you. Goodbye Dean", Emily said and left the houseboat.

"Well," Dean thought to himself as she drove away in the cab. "At least I'll get a divorce, and the kids can not say I didn't fight for them".

Here ends the story of Dean and Emily Lothario, a marriage that began beautifully, and ended-- as it ended.

Emily has returned to Sunset Valley and to her work at the Police Department alongside her dear friend and colleague Antoine, for whom, she has realized, she feels something special. Of course she's aware that Antoine is married, and after what happened to her with Dean, she would never do the same to Ella, Antoine's wife-- or their children.

It's a shame because she really likes Antoine and to her he's everything Dean could never be. If only she had met him before!

And what will happen with Dean and Cassandra? We'll find out later. Dean is pretty sure he can easily win her back. What he doesn't know is that she has a surprise for him, and we have a feeling that "surprise" involves her ex-husband, Tony. (Talking about being vindictive...)

Tony realizes this doesn't end here, 'cause he knows Cass, he's sure she's up to something and that, one way or another, he'll run into her and her ex-fiancé again --unfortunately. It's best to be prepared.

WHAT HAPPENED WITH EMILY LOTHARIO 4/4

"You're being selfish and unfair, not to me, but to our children, denying them to be close to their father!"

"Look who's talking about selfishness and injustice! I haven't denied them anything, it was you who abandoned them!" Emily snapped back, "You'll get the divorce, I'll be happy to sign it for you, but you're not going near my children again."

"What if they want to see me?"

"That's for them to decide when they're old enough. For now they're in my care, and that's how they'll stay". Emily concluded.

Then Dean also flew into a rage. "I didn't think you were so vindictive. I can see you're hurt that I left you for someone better, classier and more educated, so you want to get even." Emily froze for a few seconds.

Then she reacted and, unable to contain herself any longer, slapped him in the face, not only for what he had just told her, but for all the years of anguish he had put her through disappearing from her life, from her home, and abandoning her with five small children.

"Did it hurt you? Fine! 'Cause me and the kids felt the same way when you left us without even saying goodbye. Sorry, you know I'm not the punching kind, but you deserve it, I hope it helps you understand what you did to your family", she exclaimed as Dean was stunned by the blow.

It was the first time she rebelled against Dean since she had met him, and, to her surprise, it made her feel pretty good. Although, knowing Dean, she was a bit worried what his reaction would be.

WHAT HAPPENED WITH EMILY LOTHARIO 3/5

Dean asked Emily to meet him at his houseboat, and sent her his whereabouts.

Emily wondered, what could it be? Did he want to get back together with her? Make things right? Impossible. Now that she had gotten to know Cassandra, how pretty and rich she was, she knew Dean wouldn't give up and would go to great lengths not to lose her. Emily wasn't entirely wrong, but there was something else Dean wanted to ask her for besides a divorce.

Of course he hadn't called her over to ask her forgiveness, or to beg her to let him come home. Apparently she was the last thing he cared about, he was somewhat cold to her, as if they had never been a couple, as if they hadn't loved each other once.

The point was that he wanted an immediate divorce and custody of his children to take them to live with him in the island. It seemed so simple to him, he had some nerve!

"Not a chance," Emily replied to the point, "If Ron, who is now an adult, decides he wants to see you, there's nothing I can do to stop him. But my other children, don't you dare go near them, I won't let them get any illusions that you've come back only for you to disappoint them again. So my answer is no."

"Fine, then I'll fight for custody in court," he shot back.

"Better not even try, you'll look worse to them, and as soon as the judge hears the whole story, he's sure to rule in my favor."

CASSANDRA BREAKS UP WITH DEAN

"That night, when Dean came home from work, I told him what had happened with Emily and asked him for an explanation. At the beginning, he denied it all.

But then he confessed to it. He defended himself saying he hadn't told me anything about her because he thought he'd get a divorce on time for the wedding.

'That's not the point', I told him. 'The point is you didn't tell me that you were married. You lied to me, Dean!'

"I was so angry that I started yelling at him, I called him a liar and a cheater.

"So he got angry too. He told me I was overreacting, that he was doing everything in his power to get a divorce to marry me, that he didn't love Emily anymore and that, if she did not give him the divorce, he would use his political influence to obtain it from her. That was a red flag for me. He was being selfish and arrogant, and if he was capable of doing this to his own family, someday he would do it to me as well!
