Here's a little bit more about André Langerak, now as an adolescent. From here on out, we’ll try to continue with this test save until he graduates, although, as I mentioned before, we may have to start over once InZOI is official and I am able to transfer the entire Langerak family (and all my other sims, really). In the meantime, I hope you enjoy this little glimpse of André, the Langeraks, and the school system in Cahaya. 😊

A brief and temporary change...

Hey guys, sorry for the lack and slow pace of my posts lately. Work and real life are keeping me busy.

I'm currently working at full speed on Episode 236 of Time Traveler, which is quite long, so it might take me a couple more weeks. As for The Cho Brothers - Starlight Shores, starring Tyron Cho, it will continue shortly, but first, expect a very small series of posts from my Island Paradise save, featuring the Langeraks, specifically Tony and his family. This won't be a story, just some gameplay posts, cause those photos have been sitting in my files since February '24, which is where I am right now. Go figure, 2025 is almost over and I can't finish posting 2024!

I really need to finish posting all this backlogged material so I can bring my Sims stories to a close and possibly go back to playing The Sims 3 just for fun, without the pressure to post.

I know there's no such pressure except the one I put on myself, but when I play, I can't stop taking pictures, and once I take them, I just have to share them, lol, that's why my computer is full of old photos I don't know when/if I'll post. I guess I'll never learn. 😄

Also, there will also be more posts about my InZOI gameplay, one of whose protagonists, Bradley, incidentally, belongs to this Langerak family and was one of my first Sims to make the jump to InZOI.

Anyway, expect to see some glimpses of Tony and his family in Island Paradise. About Tyron, again, he will be back very soon, I hope! These days, I'm never sure what I will or won't be able to achieve with The Sims, so I don't want to make any promises, All I can promise is that I'll do my best. 😉🩷

Before he left, Bradley asked Meredith for a second date, and she accepted!

"Well, on second thought, I think I'll give myself an 8, for what Mer said about the hair and for getting another date. I promise the next one will be different, no silly videos and stuff. I won't let you down Mer," he thought as he left the park.

If Brad knew how excited Meredith was, she had a wonderful time and was counting the days until she could see him again. Of course, she doesn't get her hopes up too high, knowing that he will soon become a young adult and go off to college. Will he forget about her then? Will he even come back to Island Paradise?

As he heads home, Bradley is already dreaming about his second date with Meredith. He can hardly wait, but he'll have to prepare himself - should he ask his dad for advice? He knows more about women than any other Langerak! Or maybe it's too soon to invoke his knowledge? Oh well, we'll see…

This photo somehow reflects the current state of Tony and Cassandra's relationship. She's regretful; he's tired of dealing with a relationship that just won't die. One might think that the divorce came about because of Tony's mistake, his infidelity.

But Cassandra's whimsical nature also had a lot to do with the end of the couple, let's not forget she's the spoiled daughter of two celebrities, that she's a diva in her own right, and that she was the one who asked Tony for a divorce in an impulse. He kept chasing her for several years, and no matter how much he asked for her forgiveness she never agreed to go back with him. Now they are divorced and although the whole family (especially hers) believes that sooner or later they will get back together, it seems that this time their separation is for good.

Jeannine is really going to need all her patience to deal with Tony's turbulent life. Let's not forget that he is a famous writer, an explorer, a diver and a sailor. His life is always spent away from home, out of Jeannine's sight. It's not all good for his marriage, but what can Jeannine do? She'll have to keep calm.

Starting with the thousand calls he receives a day, who calls him? First of all, from work, they call all the time to give him diving jobs or new archaeological trips. Secondly, his family, especially his brother Mike. Mike is a great advocate of Cassandra. All the information about her, every move, comes to Tony through him and his wife Miranda, who is Cassandra's super friend since college days. Oh well, it's no secret that the entire Langerak family wants Tony back with her.

Ugh, that's how things are for Jeannine now, not quiet or encouraging at all, but-- will she give up? Never. And neither Cassandra nor all the women who have walked through Tony's life will ever be able to take him away from her. He's her husband now, so she's going to fight for him and win, even if she has to drag him out of Island Paradise for it.

Jeannine thinks she knows what Tony is worried about.

It's Cassandra, damn it, it's her! She's certain of it. He hasn't been able to get her out of his mind since she broke up with Dean Lothario.

Jeannine can clearly feel him starting to drift away again. Hopefully these are just figurations of her, hopefully this new obsession of Tony's will pass soon, he got over it once, he can do it again, right?

We'll find out soon, I hope. We'll be back with Tony, Jeannine and the Langeraks later. I also hope that we can join Tony on more of his famous adventures as an explorer in The Travels and Adventures of Tony Langerak.
