I used to like your writing until you wrote ‘jegulus’ I don’t know how anyone can ship them and I really don’t know why you would write jily and ‘jegulus’ like make up your mind. And honestly looking back your writing sucks lol

First of all there was no need to comment on my writing.

Also I can write and ship whoever I want together.

I’m going to get hate for this from both sides but I can and do ship both Jily and Jegulus.

Some fics I might write Jily another I’ll write Jegulus. It all depends.

Some (a lot of) people have multiple ships for characters.

If I see a ship I don’t like I simply ✨don’t read it ✨

Unless it is pedophilia, incest, or an ‘x reader’ fetishizing queer relationships. You can ship whoever the fuck you want.

Something I can never unlearn

A lot of people will hate on anything for the sake of putting themselves above something else.

Most people will try to gatekeep in the name of being a part of a "better" group of people.

Even I am not above defaulting to hating something that I can't see the ins and outs of. Or finding people to butt heads with for the sake of rage.

Not to say that people who want nothing to do with you or "your type of people" out of the picture deserve your love and support.

But if you let those you don't agree with or people who's views you see as damaging get to you and interact, you're only letting yourself down.

So block, unfollow, and report if you need and maybe they'll turn themselves around, or maybe they'll die with all that hate in their system

The point is, if you dont try to put yourself above others, and if you lift others up you end up a happier, healthier person.

This will be just a rant post because I am so excited about it and need to tell people.

Anyways.

So my dad used to be a 4th-grade teacher but they moved him up to 8th grade this year.

He got a grant for classroom pets.

He's getting a chameleon (he was going to get two but then they'll eat each other)

He has like a frick ton of money from the grant to get these pets so he's also getting tree frogs, a bearded dragon, and I am trying to convince him to get a turtle.

The chameleons' name is Hector Zeroni (Zero) from Holes.

The bearded dragons' name is Stanley Yelnats (also from Holes)

The frogs will be named various Holes characters.

The problem that lies with the turtles is that I, not only, have to convince him to get a turtle.

But I also have to convince him to dropped the Holes theme just this one time so that he can fulfill my childhood dream of having a turtle named either Scuba Steve or Tiny Tim.

why is it a trend for ppl’s blog descriptions/headers to be “gay/lesbian not queer” as if TERFs haven’t been using “lesbian not queer” bc “queer” is too inclusive but somehow they’re ok with reclaiming other slurs but not that one

but like. What if they’re using it as an identity and reclaiming it for themselves? People are okay with reclaiming d*** and f**, why is queer off limits? Because it’s inclusive and defies norms; because being queer means escaping expectations?

Gatekeeping the ability and the choice to reclaim words just takes the word from us and puts it back into the hands of the oppressor.
