If you could move to a place in a book, where would you pick?

Great question! Hmmm.... I wouldn't mind spending a little time with Liam Stewart, but I really want nothing to do with the rest of the world of The Darkest Minds. Although Liam is almost (almost!) worth that kind of price. 

It may be an obvious answer but I am probably always going to pick Hogwarts. I was already an adult when I read the books, but that never deterred me from wanting my letter. I don't think I will ever outgrow wanting to experience that magic. It is also the most incredible world building I have ever read, which has always made it feel a little like something you could possibly be a part of. 

Honorable mention to The Night Circus. I would love to spend some time at the Le Cirque des Rêves!

When you grow old, do you picture yourself to be a cat-lady surrounded by bookshelves?

That's what I'm hoping for!  I need a lot of dogs too, though.  I'm equal parts dog lady and cat lady

What is a word that you hate seeing in/on a book?

*instantly forgets every word i've ever read in any book ever*

more often than not i have a problem with themes or tropes but i would have to say that "it's the new *insert popular book in same genre here* !!!" usually gets my blood boiling 

not sure if it's a sort of 'if you like this, then try this' thing but it's irritating

let each book stand on its own instead of in the shadow of another

Hey!! I'm having difficulty with my scenes, which are often short. I didn't have this problem when I was writing my first book, so I'm wondering if this is happening because it's what the story lends itself to? There's several main characters whom I figured were contributing to rushed feeling I was getting. Now I'm rewriting with a more focused story on one particular character, which is helping. But while I don't want my book to be choppy, I don't want to fill it with fluff either! Any ideas?

Ohhh this is a very difficult question! I love a lot of different teas, and I’m really not very picky.

I have a black tea with orange and one with spices that I love a lot, plus the teashop I work in has just gotten an easter fruit tea with eggnog chocolate flavour which is rapidly becoming a favourite. I also love Earl Grey.

As for pure teas, English Breakfast and Darjeeling are my go-to teas, and for special occasions I have two more fancy 2nd fush Darjeelings, one from Teesta Valley and one from Thurbo.

Elsewhere is SO GOOD! I cried the whole time! Of course I do overly express emotion for fictional characters...

Ahh! I better get the tissues ready when I read this one then, because I am a cryer…haha! I’m glad to know it’s good.  When I got it at a thrift store, I had actually never heard of it before, but it was only $0.40, so I just brought it for the heck of it.  Now that I’ve actually heard of people liking it, I’m definitely going to be reading it soon! :)
