- Dean is quite sarcastic and would likely crack a few puns or jokes about being taller than you, a fact he’d love because finally he’s the taller one in a pair. He’d also likely use this as a reason to grasp your hips and lift you up onto a counter to kiss you and make you forget about that half-baked pie in the oven or the half-made one on the counter.
- Your clumsiness would be endearing and he’d often remark on a new bruise you hadn’t noticed before, but if it endangered you he’d likely scold you and tell you to be a lot more careful. It sounds harsh but his lecture comes from a good place, he’s just scared to lose you like he has so many others.
- He teasingly rolls his eyes when he finds out that you’re a bibliophile. The only time he reads is when it’s for research, and even then he does so reluctantly. However, one of Dean’s favourite sights is seeing your eyes light up and your hands become animated when you discuss the latest trashy romance novel or the vampire fiction book you’ve been reading and he enjoys seeing how passinate words on a page can make you.
- Every time he and Sam are on a way back from a case, Dean makes sure to get some chocolate from the gas station they fill up at. He promises to buy you real chocolate one day but the small gesture makes you happy because really, chocolate is chocolate! The only exceptions are Valentines Day and your birthday; he goes all out for you then with a bunch of your favourite flowers and a home cooked meal, and Sam helps if only to stop him from burning the kitchen down.
- Even if Dean hates the music you love, he’ll play it in the Impala for you after coaxing from you and Sam. He bitches and moans about it but you’ll catch him humming along to it or singing a chorus in the shower. He’s super protective and would kill for you, die for you, within a heartbeat without thinking of the consequences as he goes into battle guns blazing, even if you can fight alongside him and hold your own. He’s as protective of you as he is of Sam.
- Sam would help him plan dates for you, and dates are always as special as he can make them. Your favourite dates are the simple ones, where Dean drives you out to the middle of nowhere, plays music quietly from the Impala’s stereo and you lay on the hood of Baby, watching the stars and discussing everything and nothing.
- On nights and days where there are no cases or research, Dean’s all yours. He’ll creep into your room and get into bed beside you, and you’ll wake up to those gorgeous apple green eyes staring at you. He takes to memorising every line, angle and detail of your face, fearful of the day he’ll no longer wake up to it. He’d make you feel like the goddess that you are.
- When Dean isn’t okay, you’ll know. He shuts down, he shuts off, and no one can get through to him. He’ll tell you that he’s okay, he’s fine and if anyone else asks, he’s gonna start hitting people. But keep at it and eventually he’ll crack. No one’s ever really looked out for him apart from Sam, he was never really a child, and he just needs that tender love and stability that his relationship with you gives him. Just hold him and never let go.
- When you’re not all right and you need cuddles, when you’re stressed, over worked and tired, Dean’s right there with you. He’d kiss you on the forehead and cuddle you, his heartbeat beating reassuringly under your ear, and tell you that everything will be fine. You’ll defeat whatever is ahead of you with no problem, and he’d be with you every step of the way. You’re a Winchester, and they don’t give up!
