Charon finds himself curiously drawn to those with power. It’s not just the implication of raising his own standings, but the way that people in positions of power hold themselves. So with that in our thoughts, those he has found the most worth his thoughts so far have been Captain Dubois and His Eminence Armaud.

Charon is a person who is frequently beset by jealousy. Anybody who, as he perceives, has been dealt a better hand in life is subject to his envy. Generally, this is extended to those with a higher class than his own – the Cardinal, the King, the head of the guard.
