Work is going to the dogs
I usually don't post stuff like this on here but I had to get my monkey brain to shut up. My job has been going great, I have been learning alot of new things. I starting to become very comfy with ATMs and what needs to be done with them. I enjoy my job for the most part, as far as the work is concerned. But lately its starting to turn into BAMS (Bank of America)
The owner of the company has seen my tablet out, my manager (on site manager) has seen the tablet and said it was fine. Well they hired this Customer Service Manager and now she is trying to micro manage everything! She has nothing to do with our department she just happens to reside in the same area we are.
When I am on a call I am not usually on my tablet, unless its to listen to music, with headphones on softly. Other wise I don't use it during a call. She came over to one of my co-workers Kelly and said, "Other groups see you guys use that and feel its not fair." There was another manager on our floor that was moved to the 3rd floor. She saw the tablets and said it was fine. She never messed with Tech support.
Then she started to say we need to put signs up when we are on breaks and lunches. NO! We have a program called Desktop that we put ourselves on Lunch and breaks. Every other manager logs in to see our statuses. She can do the same, and what the fuck does it matter to her if we are on lunch. Worry about your own Goddamn people! We are no concern of yours.
You handle our timesheets and possible PTO days. Thats it. Stay away from us, stay out of our business. We are adults and don't need someone who has been here less time then the whole tech support staff making changes because it suits your little "Dear Leader" complex.
Later today, two of my co-workers are going down to the main site manager and bring up these points. We work well as a team, we work independently, we also work together. We don't need you. Shut your fucking mouth, and stop trying to put input into something that doesn't concern you.
We can't grow as a company if its being micro managed by someone who doesn't care about her employees. Oh did I also mention she has only been there for maybe two months and she has been in HR Twice?! Yeah she has stepped on alot of toes since she got hired. So we are going to nip this in the bud before this shit gets worse.
Also, we have hour lunches. I enjoy it cause I can get stuff done, I have time to eat, and I feel relaxed. This bitch comes around going, "Well we want to see if people want the hour, we might change it to 30 mins depending on what people say." Shut the fuck up. You want to change it, LEAVE US ALONE! TECH SUPPORT ISN"T YOUR CONCERN.
One of my co-workers tried to give her the beneifit of the doubt, but she already knew what type of person she was and knew this shit would start to happen. Hopefully our On-site manger John nips this shit in the bud. Or he is going to start loosing good people.
