Happy Birthday Jeffrey Combs!! Here are all my drawings of the Jeffey Cinematic Universe together
Lonnie Hawks vs Roger Hawks
In the movie Death Falls (1991) WATCH HERE Lonnie (Jeffrey Combs) and Roger (James Short) stumble out of a bar late one night, and their conversation goes something like this:
Lonnie: “Did you see how she was looking at me all night?”
Roger: “She wasn’t looking at you, she was looking at me! You’re blind as a bat, boy!”
Which Hawks brother were you looking at?
Lonnie, the impulsive and wild younger brother with his tousled dark hair and impish face? Or Roger, the taller, muscular, soft spoken yet impetuous older brother with his Marty McFly vest and trucker hat.
I wanted to take one Hawks brother home, and it was…
Lonnie
Roger
The last prompt day of Jefftember was the line, "He's an asshole but he's MY asshole" decided to do three, the top one is a gift, the second a more personal pic and the last one just something funny (and chuger themed of coarse)
all your feelings your grief your pain aren't real you are not real you are just a copy a clone flesh and blood but no soul and you were built in a lab to protect the real person and you hate her but you yearn for her you are glad you split you wish you never did you are just an echo of genuine feelings you have no heart and when you get beat up you have no choice but to come back like some golden retriever limping back to its owner after getting thrown in the rain because that's what you were built for that's what your purpose is all your protective traits is not something to be proud of because you have no choice it was programmed into you but you're a faulty experiment you're a ghost you're fighting back like your creator intended you were born to die you're never wanted you've always been one half incomplete the second option the throwaway expendable bodyguard but you're clawing your way to protect her you need to make sure she's safe you're not alive you're not a real person you're not real you're not real you're not-
but your love is. and you would die ten million deaths as a copy/clone/fragments of a broken mirror if it meant she would be safe.
that was your purpose after all, was it not?
