Lee and Talbott for the sleep ask? 💚

Who is a night owl: Both of them. Lee can’t sleep until his brain decides to shut up (fun with ADHD amirite fellas) and Talbott works best creatively speaking at night. It’s not uncommon for them to cross paths after midnight. 

Who is a morning person: Neither of them. In fact, Lee's been known to slip a touch of wideye potion into his morning tea. Really gives it the kick it needs. Talbott can’t decide if he finds it smart or concerning. 

Are they cuddlers: When the mood strikes, yes. It’s a unanimous, “fuck no” when it’s super hot out. 

Who is the big spoon and who is the little spoon: Both of them. They’re about the same height, so it’s easy for them to switch it up. Talbott prefers to be the big spoon when they’re both tired and liable to fall asleep, though. Lee drools.

What is their favourite sleeping position: Lee likes to sleep on his side, oftentimes while facing Talbott (he’s a nice sight to fall asleep/wake up to, after all). Tal also sleeps on his side, either in fetal position or with at least one leg up towards his chest. He has a tendency to face Lee as well. 

Who steals all the blankets: Talbott. Lee likes to think of it as him making a nest for himself. 

What they wear to bed: T-shirts and boxers, usually. Sometimes pajama pants on colder nights. Lee goes shirtless in the summer.

Who likes seeing the other wearing their t-shirt: Oh, they both do. Lee’s more obvious about it than Talbott, but he enjoys it just as much. There’s just something v appealing about seeing your SO in your clothes, you know?

Who falls asleep mid-conversation: Neither of them. Get these two started and they can talk through the night. 

Who wakes up in the middle of the night with nightmares: Both of them, but thankfully, it’s not a frequent thing. I like to think they’ve both found peace of mind as adults. The past visits, but it doesn’t haunt them. 

Who accidentally punched the other in their sleep: Lee. He tends to move around in his sleep and has definitely whacked Talbott before. 

Who can’t keep their hands to themself: Lee, no doubt. Talbott not so secretly doesn’t mind.

I wish you would write a fic where Oscar meets Barnaby. I just need those two to meet. Especially if there's pining angst involved.

I wish you would write a fic where...

I definitely want to write a fic in which Oscar and Barnaby meet, and that when Barnaby and Laurent finally date. Can you just imagine how it would be? Just… a lot of emotions, and that for everyone. Barnaby, despite what people think of him, is a very, very perceptive man, and he would see in Oscar’s eyes just how much he loves Laurent… after all, the look Oscar has, it is the same with which Barnaby looks at Lau.

And Oscar… god, Oscar. There he is, meeting the man dating the man he’s crushing on. He isn’t angry. He isn’t planning to break the relationship apart, only the shittiest people do that. But he’s heartbroken. So heartbroken. His priority, however, is to keep Laurent happy, and so he smiles, and acts as if nothing is wrong.

His priority is Laurent’s happiness. If Barnaby can make Laurent happy, then so be it.

2. Their mother? How do they think of her? What do they hate? Love? What influence - literal or imagined - did the mother have?

Ash’s relationship with her mother is very distant v.v 

Carolyn Malus wasn’t really ready to be a mother when she had Ash. She was conceived from a one-night stand, so the father never stuck around. Then there was her demanding job, her own poor parents, and a ton of other hurdles life threw at her. 

She wasn’t really involved in Ash’s life–work and obligation wouldn’t let her be. She put Ash through school, helped out where she could, bought her gifts. Stood by her through the supernal weirdness that always seemed to follow her around. She never really connected to Ash–got close to her. She was afraid to, always keeping her at arm’s length, never really able to figure out how to understand her. And then the representative from Hogwarts came, explained what the strangeness about her daughter was. The world she belonged to. And from that point on, Carolyn more or less stopped trying to understand her–and hoped that Ash would find what’s best for herself on her own.

Ash resents her for it–though she also understands why she was that way. Their relationship will always be… complicated.

11. How do they see themselves: as smart, as intelligent, uneducated?

Ash doesn’t believe she’s very smart. She is very bright and intelligent, however, her lack of knowledge on the Wizarding World often makes her miss out on things that are considered common sense and knowledge, so she often needs things explained to her, which makes her feel less intelligent than she actually is. 

32. How does your character react to stress situations? Defensively? Aggressively? Evasively?

Frantically, I think? Something like that. She tends to panic in stressful situations, and has to make a conscious effort to keep her head on straight so she doesn’t make fatal mistakes. Although she does try to tackle the problems at hand head-on, they often feel like too much, and overwhelm her quite a bit as she gets in over her head. 

46. Is your character tall? Short? What about size? Weight? Posture? How do they feel about their physical body? 

Well, she’s taller than Lua, I’ll tell you that

I’d say she’s fairly tall? Around 5′8. She’s a little skinny, mildly athletic. Still scrawny. She comfortable in her own skin and doesn’t have any problems with physical body. Except that she’d like to be a little stronger so that she could do cool things like parkour or something. She’ll get there later, though
