this girl was,,,, so weird honestly

i think there’s a post about this like, deep in my college tag, but one time i walked out of my room and into the hall around midnight, and she was lying in the nook in a plastic bag

when i asked her what she was doing, she looked at me and said “it’s a body bag”

i wish i could say i inquired more, but honestly i felt like i should just leave well enough alone

actually i went back through my college tag and yep, here’s the post describing this particular event

freshman year was wild, y’all, and a lot of that was due to the fact that i lived across the hall from this girl

Okay, okay, I'll keep it for now... but I might end up changing it back to pinks tomorrow (even if that involves drawing another picture lol).

Also, deathbyleche, before it was pink with the first one of these as the header (but with the hearts as well). I'll experiment with the circle, I actually forgot it was an option haha.

I feel exactly the same way. Its so hard to grow it out tho once you’ve gotten used to the convenience of short hair.

I know! I'm totally pumped about having my hair at my shoulders, but I'm not pumped about the shaggy stage in between!

I haven’t read the book but from what you’re describing it sounds like what’s in the book. The only thing I really didn’t care for was the music. Like I understood using modern music, but I didn’t like the songs they chose cause it didn’t quite fit right

That's interesting. I mean, yeah, it's a neat choice, and I think a smart one to convey the air of excess and decadence in the book, instead of putting a bunch of jazz on which would probably just get people romanticizing the past. But if the song choices are off...

I'm also interested to learn that there are people besides me and Sunshine who got through high school not having read it, because EVERYONE read it in high school. But we did Romeo and Juliet, and Hamlet, and To Kill a Mockingbird, but not Gatsby. I picked up a secondhand copy a couple months ago and was finally guilted into reading it by the face of Leo watching me from every bus and billboard like the eyes of God.
