I don't want you to feel remorseful, I want you to understand. I can see the beauty in death. I can't see the beauty when there are a disproportionate number of deaths for a certain group represented in this medium. And although you do not consider it shock value, it can certainly come across that way for others. Even if a character dies a "good death" for the show, for that character, does that make people any less tired, any less pained by the nature of the outcome?

& I told you, I DO understand. I am IN that group & have SEEN it too. & in my opinion & experience, yes, a well handled death that honors the character DOES lessen the pain of that outcome.

Apparently you do know what to say, because you just stated that any personal pain they feel for watching a representative of themselves be murdered (again) essentially for shock value is lamentable BUT not as important as a good story.

Stef, I don’t think you understand.  When I say we were monitored, I mean if you went on the wrong sites you’d get fucking fired.  I mean they had an entire security department to watch your shit.  Like we weren’t even supposed to go on youtube.
