Yooo your Bones post is spot on-Pelant is soooo annoying! And I really felt like they just shoehorned his obsession with Brennan in at the end without it truly reflecting in his behavior. And the Patriot in Purgatory is one of my favorite eps!! I feel they really approached that topic in an excellent way and all of the squintern actors just blew it out of the park! Absolutely stunning acting from all of them. Speaking of antagonists-what is your take on Broadsky? He was one I really enjoyed and Vincent’s death is an episode that always rips my heart out.

Right?! I hate Pelant so much, especially for fucking things up even more right and the end for bringing Brennan's attention to the ghost killer. And yeah, it really did feel like that and I hate it

The acting is so wonderful, I love how they share what they were doing that day and I love whenever we see the squinterns interact and boy did they in this one. Never fails to give me the chills.

Broadsky is a very interesting antagonist and I feel like I should hate him as much or more than Pelant and Taffet, but I just... don't. Maybe its because Broadsky actually does have clear logic and reasoning for what he does and I can understand why he goes after Booth (and some of what he says... I don't disagree with) Maybe its because he doesn't terrorize the whole team like Taffet and Pelant do. And maybe its because that while he does kill one of my favorite characters (Vincent's death destroyed me and I miss him dearly. Rewatching that episode always fills me with dread because it starts out so light hearted and then the foreshadowing creeps in and then BOOM! Its made clear why the episode is named "The Hole in the Heart" (which is still all kinds of rude that they did that)) it feels more that the WRITERS killed him in order to finally push Booth and Brennan together (he's the only intern to my memory that they KILL. It was a plot move) So yeah, I find Broadsky to definitely be an interesting antagonist, and I don't mind him.

What if Cas became Death? Billie knew the new ending to Chucks book- and she didn’t start attacking them until she was sure they were alone and vulnerable. And if Cas becomes Death- what if he reaps Chuck? Cas is the one element Chuck can’t account for- and it would be awesome for him to come back leading the cavalry of angels

The death before Billie said one day he would eventually reap God, right? Which means we need a new Death. Sam and Dean kill him, Cas reaps him, the angels are restored, Dean reveals Cas’ love wasn’t so unrequited

I would fully accept this ending, even just for the possibility of a black trench coat
