Synopsis: Y/n Yagami was only two years older than her brother, Light, but it didn’t change the fact that he would always be your baby brother. Light was always a weird one, especially when he was compared to your actual baby sister. But when you met his new friend, you realized that there were more weird things happening than you first believed. It didn’t help that you thought the stranger was good looking.
A/n: This is just setting it up and seeing if you all will like it. If not I just won't continue but I hope you do!!!
The sight of your rising and falling chest enamored him as he felt glued to the floor. Light was busy with writing down names, so the Shinigami was currently exploring the Yagami household. He knew Light had a little sister, but an older one was new knowledge to him.
The door opened, but the Shinigami didn’t move, no one would see him anyway. Lights eyes widened at the sight of the tall creature in the room staring intently at his sister. Stepping silently into the room, he grabbed Ryuk’s arm and yanked him out. The door closed behind them right as you began to stir, but you fell right back asleep.
“What the hell are you doing?!” Light hissed as he shoved Ryuk into his room. The Shinigami looked at him dumbfounded as if he needed a reason to be watching you sleep. It wasn’t like he was there for long and no one could blame him for staring at you. Ryuk had seen many humans in his life, but you were different and he didn’t know why.
“What's her name?” Ryuk asked, ignoring the question and instead, chasing his own curiosity. The blonde below him scrunched his nose up in confusion, “Y/n...Her names Y/n” he answered anyway. He was still concerned that he had caught the Shinigami in his older sister's room, but he wouldn’t do anything without Light saying so. Ryuk tilted his head, the sound of your name flowing through his ear like music.
“She’s... Nice looking” Ryuk admitted awkwardly, not quite sure how to say what he wanted to say. Light scoffed at the statement but decided to just drop it in hopes that the other being would too. “I found my next victim... But I need your help with it”

✯Mello will make sure you have regular study breaks! If you don’t, then he’ll threaten to go down to your school/college and threaten your teacher/s for giving you this much work in the first place!
✯You need to drink a lot of water!! He’s like an overbearing mother but genuinely wants you to have a healthy body and mind- it’s actually be cute if he didn’t make you drink three, big bottles everyday!
✯Anything that you don’t understand, he’ll try his hardest to explain to you! Whether he has to repeat it twice or a thousand times, you will get it!
✯He isn’t the best at pep talks- not that that stops him! He believes in you so much and you better believe he’s going to make that known!
✯During your study breaks/when you aren’t studying, he’s very caring and won’t let you do anything- you need to relax! “Mello, the remote is ten feet away!” “Ten feet too far- I’ll get it!”
✯If you get a high grade/the grade you wanted, he’ll be very smug and happy- though he doesn’t think it was worth all your stress, he’s happy you’re happy!
✯If you don’t..You’ll have to hold him down to stop him from going and killing your teachers, “You worked too hard to fail! I don’t care what a stupid piece of paper says and neither should you!”

- Well.
- If L was unsure of his feelings for his s/o before, he’s certain of them now.
- He’d ask his s/o (read: demand) to bake him small things - at first.
- Strawberry shortcake would be the most popular request.
- Watari would have a little more time to himself each day. Usually, he’s the one baking L’s treats, but now it’s you.
- L would watch you bake, asking you questions.
- He wouldn’t pay much attention to you… his eyes are on the sugary goodness.
- He would openly praise your confections and would tell people to try them out.
- But not from his stock - you’d end up having to bake two of everything.
- Mostly because L would eat it all and then some.
- But also because L doesn’t share.
- Your baking would become a bribing tool for .
- Example: “Light-kun, if you admit to being Kira, I’ll give you this strawberry.” and he’d pluck the strawberry off the cake, the end dipped in buttercream, and hold it out to Light/his victim.
- L’s kitchen would look like it was straight from a home design catalogue.
- You’d have all the best cooking utensils and counters; top of the range cookers etc.
- Watari would be sent out on daily trips to the supermarkets to get you ingredients that you need.
- L would be the type to wake you up at 3am when you’ve just gotten to sleep because he needs cake.
- But not the spare one in the fridge that Watari made.
- Nope. Your cake, fresh from the oven.
- L would demand, but he’d also make sure that you know just how appreciated your efforts are.
- You’d find small gifts lying around HQ for you.
- You’d know they’re yours because they’re carefully wrapped in your favourite colour, the Old English font style ‘L’ on the label attached.
- He’d also get you to try your own baking, and would always praise you.
- Maybe even a small smile, if you’re lucky.
- He’d want you to expand your horizons as far as baking goes, and would encourage you to find, try out and practice new recipes, different types of pastries with different flavour combinations, etc.
- You’d have your own apron.
- And your cooking equipment would be in your favourite colour.
- The entire kitchen would be tailored to your needs and wants.
- If you’re really really lucky, you might even get a hand resting on the top of your head, L smiling up at you without showing his teeth.
- He’d be so appreciative of you and your skills and would love you all the more for your love of baking and how hard you work on each thing you create.

As this is a new blog and no body knows what I’m comfortable/won’t write, i thought it’d be best to begin with a list of rules.
•I don’t write attempted rape/rape, pedophilia, incest or anything along those lines as they are all disgusting and quite frankly revolting.
I will however write about the reader being a victim of one of the above- e.g., Light’s reaction to finding out reader had been raped.
•I won’t romanticise abuse so if you request one of the characters hitting reader for example, it will have a sad ending like most real life abuse situations.
•Although you can request some specifications about the reader (chubby, brown hair, blue eyes, dark skin and etc.,), I won’t name the reader or be extremely detailed about her appearance so don’t ask me to.
•I have the right to reject any request if I’m uncomfortable/it goes against the rules, most of the time I’ll let you know.
•Depending on the request, I will write NSFW but only if I’m comfortable with the kink/plot.

Light Yagami
- Light wouldn’t pay much attention to you at first, seeing as you’re shy when you first meet people. He’d probably be a little curious about you and would want to get to know a bit more about you so then he can decide if you’re friend or foe, but upon meeting you for the first time he’s on a neutral ground.
- Upon getting to actually know you, Light would definitely decide that you’re a friend to him. So long as you’re not too outgoing, like Misa, he’d want to spend time with you.
- Your sarcasm would be a plus, in Light’s eyes. He’d particular enjoy prodding you with his own sarcasm, entering into a battle of wits with you, throwing insults and the like back and forth.
- If he went too far, he’d apologise immediately, realising where the line is drawn, and then move on from it.
- Your love of animals wouldn’t bother him all that much, though I think he’d secretly enjoy watching you gush over animals, if you do that, so long as you don’t go overboard. if you ever got drawn to tears over the cuteness of an animal, he’d roll his eyes at your antics, a smile tugging at his lips.
- He’d probably ask you what’s so cute about it, and listen to your explanation.
- He’d openly praise your artistic talents and would brag about you to his friends, and he’d most definitely buy you all the top quality supplies, not expecting anything in return, though he wouldn’t turn down a gift in exchange.
- We all know that Light has a dark side, so your interest in the dark and creepy wouldn’t bother him at all, and he might even quiz you, seeing how far you’ll go in your love of it.
- Your answers will depend on whether you’re in his new world or not. Answer carefully.
- He’d enjoy the contradiction in your personality - you love the dark and creepy, and you also love the light and fluffy things in life.
- He’d find you interesting in that aspect, and would try to find where one interest and one begins.
- He’d enjoy spending time with you. Doesn’t matter whether it’s just you being artistic and him sat on the couch reading a book. Doesn’t matter if you’re out with friends together... he’d enjoy being with you.
- Your physicality wouldn’t even be a factor in dating you - he loves you for you, he doesn’t care about what you look like, so long as you take care of your appearance and maintain hygiene - that’s literally it. So long as you’re always clean and look presentable, he’s happy.
