Synopsis: Y/n Yagami was only two years older than her brother, Light, but it didn’t change the fact that he would always be your baby brother. Light was always a weird one, especially when he was compared to your actual baby sister. But when you met his new friend, you realized that there were more weird things happening than you first believed. It didn’t help that you thought the stranger was good looking.

The sight of your rising and falling chest enamored him as he felt glued to the floor. Light was busy with writing down names, so the Shinigami was currently exploring the Yagami household. He knew Light had a little sister, but an older one was new knowledge to him.
The door opened, but the Shinigami didn’t move, no one would see him anyway. Lights eyes widened at the sight of the tall creature in the room staring intently at his sister. Stepping silently into the room, he grabbed Ryuk’s arm and yanked him out. The door closed behind them right as you began to stir, but you fell right back asleep.
“What the hell are you doing?!” Light hissed as he shoved Ryuk into his room. The Shinigami looked at him dumbfounded as if he needed a reason to be watching you sleep. It wasn’t like he was there for long and no one could blame him for staring at you. Ryuk had seen many humans in his life, but you were different and he didn’t know why.
“What's her name?” Ryuk asked, ignoring the question and instead, chasing his own curiosity. The blonde below him scrunched his nose up in confusion, “Y/n...Her names Y/n” he answered anyway. He was still concerned that he had caught the Shinigami in his older sister's room, but he wouldn’t do anything without Light saying so. Ryuk tilted his head, the sound of your name flowing through his ear like music.
“She’s... Nice looking” Ryuk admitted awkwardly, not quite sure how to say what he wanted to say. Light scoffed at the statement but decided to just drop it in hopes that the other being would too. “I found my next victim... But I need your help with it”
