kira is someone who doesn't take an interest in people very often, but when he does end up falling in love with someone, he gets obsessed with them!

he's both likely to fall for someone weak that he feels protective over and wants to look after, while also being drawn to strong and independent people, who know exactly what they want!

however, kira is a very stubborn person and someone who does believe to know best! so if you're the later type, it'll likely lead to some arguments. but if you're on the weaker side, kira will happily mold you into what he wants you to be

kira only has good intentions with you, but his stubborn refusal to compromise or see it from another point of view make him do bad things for the sake of a good outcome

there's no escaping kira either. once he has his eyes set on you, he won't give up. you can block his number, move away or never speak to him again, it's all pointless. he will find you again and he will force his way back into your life!

at the very least, he's not a very jealous man! he'll let you have male friends and have a social life, but he's watching your every step. though only if someone is truly a threat to you or wants to help you escape from him will kira start cutting them out of your life

Dealing with a sick partner

♤ As soon as you get sick you'd be met with a version of Kira you have never seen before (the version everyone knew but that she had never shown you)

♤ Stern tone, voice cold, arms crossed over her chest like they got stuck that way and eyebrows furrowed in barely contained disapproval

♤ All while making you soup in your dorm

"I didn't think you'd actually do something like that. One would think that in a minus ten degree weather it'd be a good thing to wear a jacket. I guess not you"

She asked the questions and she gave the answers- it had been like that all day, since the moment she bursted through the door and startled you awake.

You had texted her in the morning that you'd be staying home because you felt yourself coming down with something. She gave a dry response - a simple 'alright, I'll let the professors know' - and you had put the phone away on the nightstand assuming she was busy.

But when your door slammed open roughly five hours later - where all you did in the meantime was sleep and turn in your bed - you caught on to what she was actually thinking.

She had a plastic bag full of everything you could ever need: water, fruit, pills, all the ingredients for a soup because she didn't trust your fridge to have them and rigorously healthy snacks. She had looked like an angel, knight in shining armour even- but then she opened her mouth and the facade crumbled to the ground.

She didn't yell or raise her voice once, mindful of your headache. Instead she laid out your faults in front of you in a calm tone and russian words slipping in between because despite your poor decision-making skills she still felt safe enough for her mother tongue to slip through unfiltered.

"I told you technically it wasn't my fault. Micheal didn't know he was ill"

He told you it was just a sore throat and you believed him. You had no reason not to. A cough every now and then that you dismissed and buried your nose deeper into the book as you both just wanted to finish the project as soon as possible. As for not wearing a jacket? Your only (weak) excuse was that it was warm and sunny when you got out of your dorm room in the morning.

The only silver lining was that the project was over and you could feel like dying in your bed stress free.

Kira bit her tongue to prevent herself from saying that hanging out with Micheal was a problem on its own and turned the stove off. She came to stand beside you, putting the bowl of warm soup in your lap as soon as you sat up.

"Technically you shouldn't spend time with people who are clearly coughing. That's still on you" you tried to laugh, but it came out hoarse and only hurt your throat more.

Her hand stayed on your leg while you ate pretending she needed the foothold but really making sure you weren't trembling.

Later, she borrowed some comfortable clothes to wear and sat next to you, sitting with her back on the wall over the covers as her fingers rapidly tapped on her laptop. She didn't try to hold a conversation, causing you to fall asleep soon after, blankets up to your nose and snoring softly- finally free from constant coughing. You slept almost all afternoon, safe for when Kira would wake you up to take your temperature or take the medicine at it's designated times.

♤ She wouldn't be the type to use notes to remember you to eat or take care of yourself; it's really impractical if you don't live together, as she'd have to come into your dorm room just to leave notes instead of telling you face to face. Besides, that's too openly romantic, and not her style.

♤ Rather she'd text you, and she'd do it in a 'strictly informative' way

♤ Texting things like "there's still some food left from last night in the microwave if you're hungry" or "text me which vegetables you have there, I want to see if I can cook something without having to stop at the store" "the professor hinted at a test next week, you better study when you feel better"

♤ She'd take out her phone in the middle of conversation or a meeting with the rest of the student council to ask you if you have taken your medicine (but more than a question it is a reminder because she knows you forgot)

♤ When she's with you she'd often run her hands through your hair, firstly it's because she knows her cold fingers on your warm temple comfort you but that way she can also keep track of your temperature

♤ But her care doesn't stop when your fever goes down or when you return to school

♤ And now that the two of you are in public it's even more on the down low

You had a designated spot in the cafeteria, like everyone else, spots either assigned by an unwritten rule or by the very written rule stating that the house pets had to eat as far away from the centre as possible. Your spot was on Kira's left while her sister sat on her right, a mental reminder of her role.

You were finally able to eat real food - no offence to Kira's attempts at twenty different soups recipes - and were really going to take advantage of it. When your food tray was about to touch the table you noticed something else already occupying the space: a candy bar sitting in front of you still sealed in its envelope. The kind of snack you loved but would make your girlfriend grimace just at the thought of such amount of calories.

"Did you get this for me?" you caught Kira's attention, chairs scraping against the ground as you two sat down.

She placed her phone on her left before locking it. Her gaze shifted between your eyes and the bar now in your hands as you were already tearing it open - she could have been the only one to remember such a small detail about you. She shook her head, but didn't deny it.

"It's not mine. You know I don't like it"

You stared at her side profile for a minute while she pretended not to notice and bit onto the snack. You shrugged "well, thanks"

♤ You find snacks everywhere after that: your bag, Kira's bag, in a cabinet you checked yesterday and swore was empty

♤ Alternates between sweet and savoury, healthy and high-calorie ones so if you don't have energy to cook you'd still get all the necessary nutrients

♤ Gets Riri to do council work for her so she has more time to help you

♤ Wouldn't do your work for you, but would help you with it and ask the teachers for a longer deadline

♤ She's never scared to get sick, she has a good immune system but would still refrain from kissing your lips

♤ She'd kiss your cheek or forehead if you complain, making up for the lack of contact with her arms wrapped around you

♤ Even after you get better she keeps a watchful eye on you for the first few weeks, claiming you could easily get sick once again

♤ And scolds if you try to do something that got you sick last time

♤ She might not have the best attitude but she does put the utmost effort and time in tacking care of you

Who stole the Christmas (decorations)?

Faded blue hoodie and messy hair stood out in the perfectly tidy gamble lounge, the brown parquet had probably never felt the softness of slippers as you stood in the middle of the room. But it was way too late for you to care; lessons ended hours ago and every student was already asleep by now so there was no risk of anyone seeing you in that state (not that you would have cared anyway). And besides, it was not like the other four people in the room were any better, mismatched pajamas or heavy blankets wrapped around them- at least you still had your uniform pants on.

Of course, Kira and Riri just had to enter the room and make all of you feel inferior.

The two sets of heels coming from the hallway didn't go unnoticed, the chatter slowly dimmed and everyone - including you - turned around to look at the big doors. Kira's arms spread wide as she herself in, her sister following just a few steps behind like she always did. Both still wore their uniform, black blazer ironed to perfection like they had to make a statement even in the middle of the night.

Both scanned the room, though for different reasons. Riri was making sure no one was missing, that she didn't have to 'kindly' remind anyone about tonight's meeting. But Kira's eyes held only one purpose, and when they found what they were looking for a small smile graced her lips.

"Did any of you get started on the project? Or did anything useful at all?"

She spoke about 'the project' like it was some secret super important thing that concerned the whole school and would change its fate. But 'the project' was actually just..decorating the Christmas tree currently standing in the corner of the lounge. The plastic spruce almost reached the ceiling and would probably occupy an entire room, but here it looked perfect. Except- it was empty.

"You know," Chad opened his mouth, and whenever he spoke using that tone it was never anything good "I don't get why we have to do it, shouldn't the top ten just relax and let everyone else do the heavy work?"

"Yeah, I don't want to get stung by these faux leaves" Suki's voice oozed disgust, eyes on his lotion filled hands like the mere thought of working could have damaged them. He might have cared about the tree being instagram pic material, but that didn't mean he was about to do the work himself.

The russian didn't sigh at the protest like she normally would have, nor did she threaten them with the house pet status. And they didn't have the Christmas spirit to thank for that, rather the warmth of your body enveloping Kira's side and cheek. And the smile forming on your lips as soon as she approached you.

"Hi" you whispered for only her. She didn't answer, but the gaze she gave you was enough.

"I don't trust the house pets to do a good job" she answered casually, like she didn't just soften up over a simple greeting (though it could only be visible to someone as observant as her sister) "I thought we had already agreed on this"

It wasn't a real agreement, rather Kira announcing the news and no one daring to argue. And much like the day before, they all just mumbled something and started opening the different boxes laying around.

"Did you fall asleep?" she inquired softly once her eyes took in your form, the tips of her fingers brushing against the soft hoodie. The one she wore whenever she slept in your dorm room. You shook your head.

"I couldn't, I was waiting for this"

And though no one dared to ask, the reason behind this decision was obvious. You mentioned at the start of November how much you enjoyed preparing the house for Christmas when you were a kid, adding a small remark about how it wouldn't be the same now that you could only decorate half of your dorm room; and your girlfriend instantly got to work, because she couldn't deny that hearing you talk about it so animatedly had sparkled something inside her. A newly discovered desire to adhere to the holiday spirit- with you.

A tap to your shoulder made you look away from Kira, eyes meeting her sister. Riri didn't speak, just nodded her head towards a sealed box in the opposite corner of the room, like she didn't want anyone to open it but you. With a nod she soon reciprocated you thanked her and made your way over.

The heels stopped at the same time your slippers did as you stopped in front of the box. It didn't take long to remove the tape and if Kira wasn't standing behind you she wouldn't have missed how your eyes seemed to shine as you took in what was in the box.

You insisted on helping Riri with the order so all the stars in different sizes and shades of yellow and silver weren't a surprise, but your hands still rummaged through the box like you couldn't believe your eyes. A whole box full of Christmas stars to put on the tree like you used to do when you were back home. Like you had asked Kira.

"Something wrong? Is something missing?" the russian moved to put a hand on your shoulder, ready to make a second order and scold whoever was at fault for messing it up, but her own shoulders relaxed at the dimples on your cheeks as you smiled at her.

"No, it's- it's a lot, there's everything." Kira's smile only widened "It's perfect, thank you"

She shook her head to dismiss your thanks and after making sure that everyone was too busy to pay attention to the two of you, she left a brisk kiss on your lips. And didn't protest when you leaned in again.

"come on" she wiped her thumb over your bottom lip to get rid of her lipstick "let's go put those on the tree"

Decorating the tree took longer than expected but it was surprisingly a good time. The students didn't bicker like children- unlike what Kira had expected, and she didn't nag them about every single thing like they expected her to do. Between Chad yelling a 'dab me up' whenever you agreed with one of his ideas and Dori teaching you a cool knife trick once she got bored it was now almost 2 A.M. and the tree was shimmering with lights that reflected on the balls, on the playing cards and on every other decoration that was in the boxes.

Only one thing was missing.

Kira reached into the box and grabbed the last, biggest, brightest star of them all- and stood in front of you. With eyes that spoke more than her sealed lips her intentions were clear. You grabbed the star from her hands and moved closer to the tree. But Runa - who had been playing on her phone for the last half hour hiding under her shark-themed hood - caught on the action too, and didn't seem to like it.

"Yea no of course, no one wonders why they get to put the star on top of the tree"

She had meant for that remark to be only hers; only when the room fell into silence (except for the influencer who snickered behind his hand) had she realized her mistake.

You already had one foot on the ladder when you heard Runa's words, but Kira's icy tone stopped you before you could even think of getting down, slipping in that stern all-business tone for the first time since the sun went down.

"Because Riri and I have no interest in it. They're third place so they're next in line" a silent compliment for you, a silent insult for everyone else "but if anyone wants to bet them for it- well I'm sure they wouldn't mind."

No one spoke after that, Runa just munched on her lollipop in defeat. Because despite your seemingly harmless front, they knew you could easily turn them into house pets if you wanted to. That and they didn't want to be on Kira's bad side.

So you placed the star on top of the tree without any more troubles and went to sleep in Kira's dorm room right afterwards.

The next few days proceeded like normal, students betting all they had before the new year or straying as far away as possible from bets to be able to afford Christmas presents. They were unusually calm because no one wanted to get in trouble right before the holidays, and with your present carefully tucked under her bed Kira had all the time in the world to relax.

Even though 'relaxing' for the queen of the school meant standing in front of the student council room's window observing all the other students from above like a lioness preying on a bunch of gazelles (which, judging from the ranking, wasn't too far from the truth).

And it was looking through that very same window that she noticed it the first time.

Something looked wrong with the tree. Kira had a keen eye and always detected when things were out of place- but she couldn't exactly pinpoint what was off. Maybe it was the fact that it was morning, that's why it looked duller, emptier. Maybe it was the fact that she was looking at it from afar. Or maybe you weren't there smiling next to it.

Disregarding her gut feeling she decided to let it go, she didn't think anyone would actually step so low as to steal Christmas decorations off of a public tree.

The thing was- it kept happening.

Other people started to notice too, how the tree seemed emptier as the days went by - only a few stars remaining still attached by that point - thought no one cared enough to bring it up.

Kira would have investigated it herself, she was fairly free after all, but it wasn't a secret that Riri was way better at detective work and at being discreet. So she brought the problem up to her sister a week and a half after the gamble lounge was decorated. A single sentence was all the vice-president needed to get to work.

And when she reported back with the answers a few days later - result of gossip from reliable sources and keen observation - Kira couldn't say she was surprised.

A knock on your door interrupted your studying and made you curse out loud, because who could it be at this hour? Your roommate was away for the night and you weren't expecting anyone. But as soon as you opened the door all confusion and anger went out the window. Chill blue eyes staring up at you.

"Hi?" you tilted your head in a way that Kira could never not describe as cute and let her in "did I forget that we were supposed to meet up today?"

The russian looked around the place in search of something that would make the accusations true and disguised it as trying to find a spot to place her blazer. She ended up putting it neatly on the back of your chair, noting your desk was unusually clear- except for your books, a couple of different colored pens and the star-shaped mood ring that served more as a stim toy rather than an accessory.

"Not at all" she roughly made your bed just so she could sit on it without her 'outside clothes' touching the covers. One leg swung over the other with an elegance that was not needed in the privacy of your dorm room but that was innate in her brain. "But I do think you forgot to tell me something"

"I did?"

She caught how you stood still at the entrance, door closed behind you but you made no move to get closer. You looked on edge, shoulders tense and hands at your side like when a bet sounded too good to be true.

Letting out a little humming sound her head lifted and was met with the string of star lights you had taped to the wall. Lights you could only turn on during Christmas time as they normally bothered your roommate. And as the warm blinks of yellow danced on Kira's sharp cheekbones she realized she really should have figured this out sooner.

"Where did you put them?"

"Where did I put what?"

Okay. Kira may haven't found out that you were the one stealing the stars from the tree right away- maybe she wanted to give you the benefit of the doubt and didn't think her partner was a thief. But she wasn't dumb.

So when you didn't give her what she wanted she just got up and started opening your drawers. She didn't let your protests stop her, searching under every hoodie and behind every book; only stopping when you harshly closed a drawer in front of her and she had to take a step back to avoid her fingers getting stuck there.

"Sorry" you cringed "but don't open this, your gift's in here"

She squinted her eyes.

"Okay. Then tell me where you put the stars"

You couldn't last a second under her student council president gaze. You sighed.

"Under my bed"

Kira didn't verbally answer, just kneeled next to the bed and pulled out a shoe box hidden under it. Surely enough, once the top was lifted- all the stars that went missing from the tree were staring back at her. Some reflecting the light while others absorbed it.

Kira's hands still held the box as she got up.

"Why?"

"I'm sorry" you weren't looking at her, leaning on your desk with your eyes pointed to the ground to hide the guilty hue of your cheeks "I didn't mean to- well no, I did mean to but I didn't plan it. They looked so cool in the box and at first I wanted just one- I didn't think anyone would notice"

"They do when you start stealing every single star"

You couldn't help but chuckle "yeah, I realize that now. Sorry" you repeated

Kira left the box unattended on the bed as if now that she found the thief she couldn't care less about the theft and came to stand in between your legs. Her hands reached for your neck as her nails tickled the skin.

"I meant why did you feel the need to steal them? You know I could have just ordered extra for you" she said like it was obvious. Because to her, it was. The tips of your fingers absentmindedly toyed with the seams of her untucked shirt

"I know" you mumbled "but I felt guilty making you place a second order"

She looked at you for a second longer, then - with a soft sigh and a kiss to show she wasn't mad - let her hands fall to your chest where she gave a light pat before moving away.

"Well, we certainly can't bring them back and act as if nothing happened" she thought out loud with her arms crossed as she examined your loot.

"So..." you grabbed a star from the box, twirling it in your hand with a newfound cheeriness "help me decorate?"

The black haired girl tilted her head with a raised eyebrow- but still took the ornament from your hand.

"Tell me where"

'What about Kira's special Christmas plans?'

"Am I allowed to ask what you're thinking so hard about?"

Your question went unanswered and you resorted to sipping quietly on your drink with a roll of your eyes.

Kira had invited you to her room that morning like she usually did - 'I'll wait for you in my room after class' and a kiss on the cheek before anyone else entered the student council room.

It wasn't an unusual request, you two always spent the day (or the night) at each other's place whenever possible. And if you had nothing planned, Kira would study or work on upcoming big events; with your head on her lap while reading or playing on your phone.

But today she was plainly ignoring you. Staring at her fish tank with her arms crossed like she was trying to solve a riddle.

So you sighed, half tease - half resignation "no it's okay, I didn't want to know anyway"

"I heard you." her head turned to look at you for a second - hair flowing with the movement - before her eyes went back to the water "I was thinking"

"Yea I gathered" you replied with a shrug, the straw of your drink moving to the opposite side.

That seemed to snap her out of it (or maybe she had just had enough of glaring at the bubbles) and moved slightly to the side so you could see the tank.

"I want to dress them up for Christmas"

Your eyes widened at the blunt confession, like such a sentence was to be expected from someone like her. You sat up on her bed, trying to read what you could from her side profile "the fish?"

She only nodded and you started thinking that the drink either had gin instead of boba- or Kira meant what she was saying.

"Well, wouldn't that be dangerous for them? I mean their skin and the gills and the water-"

"I know that"

You may have had a hyper fixation on marine biology two years ago and never really forgot what you had learned, but when it came to her precious babies, nothing you said was news to Kira. She had already calculated every possible option, it was actually embarrassing how hard and how much she was thinking about it.

"I just need to find a way to make hats small enough that won't fall off but big enough that they won't be uncomfortable. They can't interfere with their breathing nor with their swimming"

You tilted your head to the side, staring at her with a small smile on your face. You wondered if you looked the same whenever you rambled about your interests. Kira turned her back to the tank and her cheek almost reddened at the way you were looking at her.

The conversation ended there that day, none of you having a possible solution to her problem. Kira put the thought at the back of her mind, coming back to it whenever she had a moment of freedom but she had quietly given up on seeing her fish with hats on it. You, however, never stopped thinking about it and finally came up with something after a deep dive on the internet.

It took a few tries but after a week, right before Christmas, you knocked on Kira's dorm room with a playful smile on your face and the solution to her dilemma behind your knuckles.

You beelined to her scaley babies and opened your hand for her to see. Kira furrowed her brows upon seeing small bundles of fabric in the shape of wannabe circles, some were blue and some presented more neutral tones.

"What am I looking at, exactly?" when your hand stayed unmoving her own grasped the object that was smaller than her pinkie and twirled it in her hand.

Your smile deepened like you were getting ready to tell a joke "they're hats. For your fish"

Kira's hand stilled, and you continued.

"At first I thought of drawing hats on the tank so when they'd come up to eat it would have looked like they were wearing them- but!" you put your open hands in front of your body to shield you from her glare "I would have never ruined your tank. Eventually I found other people making tiny hats and uh.. decided to try it out"

The girl gently took all the hats from your hand as if a rougher touch would break them, already deciding which hat would go to who.

"How does it work?"

"uh they should float" you tried "so if they don't like it they can just swim deeper into the water"

To test your theory she steadied one on the surface and saw how it seemed to wobble before floating, gently moved by the small waves her fish created as they orbited around it. Almost curious.

Her lips twitched to form a smile, letting her gaze wander between you and the tank. The hand that wasn't holding the other tiny hats held onto your sleeve to grab your attention- as if you weren't already looking at her.

"Pass me their food so I can see if it works"

You grabbed the little bowl of fresh fruit, cut in tiny pieces just for them and she sent you a look of confusion when you didn't hand it to her right away. You, however, just walked around to stand behind her and wrapped the hand holding the bowl around her stomach. You wordlessly nudge it toward her hand, with your head now resting on her shoulder in a position that always had her cheeks warming up.

She started feeding the fish, softly inviting them to swim under the hats like they could hear her instructions. Some swam to the food without fear but the shyer ones seemed dodgy and Kira had to give them more fruit for them to come out.

She resisted the urge to clap her hands in celebration whenever the fish would stop with the hats right on top of them. She kept narrating everything, saying things like 'oh look he seems to like it!' 'come on it's nothing scary I promise' or 'that is not your hat- get away', tilting her head back every time to make sure you were seeing it too. And more times than not she'd find your eyes on her and not on the tank.

Wanna know what I think would be funny?

Kira Yoshikage doing the whole body swapping taking over the life of reader's ex-husband thing only to find out that

1. Reader's husband was a truly terrifying serial killer who silently and untracable killed pretty much anyone who so much as mildly perturbed reader and his "quiet life" (Literally everything from catcallers to people who cut them in line at the gocery store)

2. Reader's ex was a post-mordem stand user activated by Kira kissing the reader truggering the stand to essentially starting haunting Kira and doing everything it can to expose or kill Kira for not only killing him but taking away his beloved spouse who's entirely oblivious to all of this.

Like, I think it would be hilarious for Kira to start off kind of relieved but unnerved by how little of his routine he has to change, starting to get comfortable in this life and fall harder than he thought possible for reader, only for the second he starts making moves the guy who's life he stole's stand to pop in like "Listen here, you homewrecking motherfucker!"

Like It's not an insanely strong stand, and most of what it dies is repell things from touching the reader and middly perturb Kira in the usual ghosty ways.

Kira swaps into your ex-husband's body, expecting it to be a clean slate. Quiet life, doting partner, no suspicion.

What he doesn’t expect is… your ex was just like him- but somehow worse.

Worse because the ex only killed people for you. And worse because his Stand activated in death. And now it won’t leave.

The man you divorced? You never knew how deep his love went. You just thought he was “a little intense sometimes.”

But behind the scenes, he’d been murdering anyone who upset you: the barista who spelled your name wrong, your manager who raised their voice, the Tinder match who ghosted you literal years ago.

He kept the house tidy, your life peaceful, and your schedule clear… by clearing the path in blood.

Kira recognizes it immediately. This guy’s patterns are familiar. Too familiar. It’s like looking into a mirror, except instead of nail clipping, he’s obsessed with your laundry detergent scent.

You’re even better than expected. Sweet. Trusting. Gentle. 

For a while, he’s smug about how easy this is.

“This fool really had everything I wanted and let it go. Pathetic.”

The Stand manifests only to Kira. You can’t see it. You can’t feel it. You just notice weird little things happening around the house.

It isn’t violent. It's territorial. Protective. Passive-aggressive. Like a poltergeist with a vendetta.

It’s a defensive Stand that:

“You don’t love her like I do.”

“She deserves someone who knows her scent like I did.”

It doesn’t want to kill Kira. It wants to torture him, wear him down. Because that’s what he deserves.

Kira stares at you, heart pounding, mind racing, wondering if this man left behind anything besides emotional landmines.

Kira tries everything to banish the Stand: Holy water, burning old clothes, sealing the wedding ring in concrete. Nothing works.

He starts pacing at night. Talking to himself. Twitching every time something creaks.

You: “Are you sure you’re okay?”

Kira: “Yes.” Meanwhile, a knife flies across the room and misses him by an inch.

The first time Kira says “I love you,” the Stand locks him in the bathroom for six hours.

When you finally open it, he’s on the floor, sweating, muttering:

“He’s still here. That bastard’s still here. He won’t let me love you.”

You laugh nervously and say, “Who are you talking about, honey? Haha you’re so funny sometimes. You should try comedy.”

His thoughts are all:

“Why did it have to be someone like me?”

“I’m being punished by my own reflection.”

“He’s still here. And he’ll never leave.”

She was waiting in line at St. Gentleman’s, digging through a pastel pink purse lined with cartoon keychains. Her nails clicked softly as she shuffled coins into her palm - long, painted in shades of peach and cherry blossom, sparkling with tiny rhinestones. One nail had a miniature heart charm dangling from it.

The rest of her was just as polished.

Bleached curls in bouncy layers, lashes thick and curled, lips glossed to candy shine. Her uniform blouse was crisp, tied neatly at the waist, her skirt short but spotless. A light tan dusted her skin, sun-kissed, not gaudy.

She wasn’t loud. Not really.

She smiled when she spoke. Said “please” and “thank you.” Laughed gently at the cashier’s nervous joke. She complimented the worker’s earrings before taking her melon bread with both hands, nails tapping against the wrapper.

She wasn’t rude. Wasn’t arrogant.

But she stood out.

Bright and sweet, like a candy in a glass jar - sealed, shining, untouched.

And that was the problem.

He noticed her hands more than anything.

They were always moving. Always talking.

When she pointed to something in the case, her finger tapped against the glass with that soft, delicate click. click. click.

Not rushed. Not impatient. Just idle.

But it stayed with him.

It crawled into the silence of his walk home. Into the hum of the streetlamps. Into the low buzz of his apartment.

He’d never spoken to her. Never needed to.

But he knew the pattern of her rings. The shape of her cuticles. The way her bracelets rotated slightly down her wrist when she lifted her drink.

Once, she brushed past him in line - warmth on his sleeve, the scent of strawberry lip gloss - and smiled politely, the way women do when they don’t think it matters.

She didn’t notice him.

But he noticed everything.

Especially the way her pinky flexed when she carried her sandwich bag.

Especially the small heart-shaped charm on her index nail, turning gently in the light.

That night, Kira trimmed his nails carefully.

One by one. Slow, clean cuts. The way he always did it.

His apartment was quiet. Unmoving.

But the sound lingered.

The way her nails had tapped the glass.

That soft, rhythmic click.

He didn’t speak to her.

He never would.

omg you're so sweet 😭🫶🏼💕 dw so far my uni life is actually pretty nice so far! sure, it started out awkward but I already have a few friends that I've went out multiple times with to have my lunch and they make really good company. I'm also living in a hostel and oh my god, THANKFULLY all my housemates are nice girls because you have no idea how many horror stories I've heard of people hating and being disturbed by their housemates.

but like, my housemates aren't exactly living saints lmfao, some of them still have some pretty annoying habits but it's to be expected when you're living with a bunch of strangers.

as for kira, if I'm not mistaken, didn't ego said in the beginning of the story that once someone gets eliminated in blue lock, any hope they have regarding football in japan is absolutely crushed? I mean sure, kira still could technically play for other countries since he was pretty famous in the football department but hmmm I'm not really sure 🤔 I'm not really an analyst lmao, I just love reading analysts that people make of bllk characters. but I see your point, it would be pretty cool for kira to suddenly return and I bet the look on Isagi's face will be absolutely priceless 😭

And now, what you said about Kira, yeah I've been thinking that too, because he won against Isagi, but lost when Isagi kicked him in the face with a ball. Also, when Kira looked at everyone wiht that angry/ugly snarl of his, yelling that he'd come back, I really think he will.

Just...maybe in a hundred or more chapters later or sooner, idk. and regarding what you said about Isagi and his remeeting with kira which might (not) happen, yeah, I think Isagi would look pretty dumbfounded when Kira would waltz in and demand a match against him. Or something like that.
