Art lovers, #philosophers, and #entomologists unite! What an honor to work on this imitation of #jacqueslouisdavid 's The Death of Socrates on view at the @metmuseum but swapping out all the old bearded men for #ants. I completed this entirely in #watercolors at 9"x12" using @kremerpigmentsnyc and @trekell_art_supplies brushes.
