Sure she could understand the intention of trying to be nice. The flowers the two of them did pick out together did look as lovely as ever. But the servant had a gut feeling that wasn't the real reason. And once she finally got it down pat Ereshkigal understood a little bit why the young girl was practically glued to the servant.

"Its the feeling of death isn't it? Not exactly the same as mine, but your entire body is practically cradled in it." It was something else that much was for sure. If the girl wasn't blinking she would've mistaken them for a reanimated corpse. Though she didn't really know what she could want from her either then.

"Sorry if I scared you before. Your ears reminded me of some cute little creatures back where I'm from. Though of course I'd never mistake you for one considering you are clearly a breathing living being out here."

Though even Grace couldn't argue the girl had definitely seen better days. The bags underneath the eyes, the way she carried herself, all a bit too close to home when the engineer herself would pull all-nighters throughout the week just to ensure one project was completely done.

"Name's Grace dear. You look a little lost around here. Waiting for anyone in particular?"
