i just realized you can compare Kaladin’s lucidity after surviving the Highstorm and being on the brink of death to the bit in Fellowship of the Ring after Frodo is stabbed at Weathertop. two bros surviving what they shouldn’t have? being healed on the brink of death? hell yeah.
