In a society that encourages darkness, it really should be considered a superpower navigating around people's egos. I sacrifice mine daily bc it no longer serves me (and hasn't for quite some time). When I use to allow my ego to dictate my choices rather than my heart, I was miserable. I chose partners, & friends that these relationships were killed by ego, attitude and ignorance. The Wave and the Trough

Don’t worry about death, It will come surely and serendipitously Like a swooping tide that overwhelms Gently at first touch, but then drowns you utterly whole.

Don’t worry about impermanence, The earth may die, and all may decay, Whilst the last baby cry will be heard Through the streets, and the tunnels below. But if all simply stops existing, who’s to say It won’t exist again?

Don’t worry about being alone, After all, each moment lived by “you” Is a moment lived by all “others” Such language shatters the humbling truth That “we” exist together, suspended— upon the slippery thread of time.

Don’t worry about being insignificant The stars above do not look down on you Mother earth is not out to destroy you We are stardust, As much as we are leaves Or pebbles along the bay

We are the ocean The wave and the trough Ceaselessly flowing Unto each other There is no droplet Without a body The life of a lone fish ends miserably As there will be no end to it’s search— For no secrets lie within the sea of solipsism
